Mio’s Grill & Cafe Clearwater

We chose this spot based on reviews and were not disappointed! We had called for a reservation but for lunch they weren't very busy so could have probably come in without one.The spot has several tables but many spots are also outside. The decor is minimalist but clean and nice. The service was helpful and kind, and we were served quickly.The food was delicious and plentiful. It was amazing how much it brought me back to Greek food in Greece. Delicious!We highly recommend this spot for a great lunch or dinner.

This is my mom's favorite restaurant in the area and I understand why after having it. They asked us if we had a reservation when we came in and acted like they were doing us a huge favor by letting us eat there without one even though it was mostly empty and didn't completely fill up the entire time we were there. Decor was lovely and our service was fast and efficient. I got to try the following: Haydari - Turkish Labne (I have never heard of this before, but it was absolutely amazing. I could eat this as my entree and be happy. The flavoring and texture of this dish was delicious and I highly recommend it even if you don't know what it is)Falafels (these weren't dry at all and were soft on the inside with a great crunchy outside. It paired very well with the hummus they provided)Homemade Red Lentil Soup (this was my least favorite thing I tried. I've never had such a smooth lentil soup before and it is not the preferred texture to me. There was also way too much pepper in it for me and I had to give it to my mom to finish)Chicken Gyro Platter (very nice portion size. The salad was all fresh and the chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The rice was a nice addition and had a nice buttery texture to it)I enjoyed everything but the red lentil soup and would definitely like to come back here again to try their other items. Going to give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars, but will round to 5.

Great food, friendly service. We got hummus, and the spinach and feta appy. Soooo good. The falafel plate was great and the gyro plate was fresh. The baklava is just right, not overly sweet.

Had a great quick dinner last minute on or Christmas staycation with the kiddos! Glad we found this place, one of the few decent places open on Christmas evening. Service was fast and friendly despite being packed, we were checked on several times and everything came out very fast and was fresh and delicious. Such a cute vibe with beautiful colorful lanterns throughout out. Decent amount of vegetarian options. Would definitely recommend.

Service by our Waiter Tayfun was over the top wonderful ... he was very pleasant and he provided us with great recommendations. Everything I ordered was delicious... my favorite was the Turkish coffee and baklava !

From the service to the food to the views (and having dolphins crash our lunch for a little bit!), this is a new favorite and wish we had discovered it sooner! The salads were absolutely incredible, as was the Turkish coffee. I can't wait to come back and try something else! Also really convenient that it's free parking so close to Sand key park.

First time visiting this restaurant. This spot is in the middle of a shopping strip. The parking is difficult during peak times. There is valet on each end which is very helpful. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is on the deck overlooking the water. Great views and atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our spinach appetizer and gyro platter was delicious. The prices are great and so is the service. This was a great dining experience that makes us want to go back when we are in the area. You should stop by and enjoy the food for yourself! You will not be disappointed!

Had to come here after hearing all the hype! The outside seating was so pretty and staff was super friendly. I came on a Friday night around 6, parking was atrocious. Restaurant was not packed but I had a reservation. Seemed to be one server that night and service was very slow but good time to spend with good company. Food is quite pricey and the Turkish drinks were not served in their original packaging resulting in less drink than advertised. Food was really good, my Turkish friend joined and was more particular about the quality of the food due to his expertise but I really enjoyed it. The night was a little breezy and unfortunately their hot beverage machine wasn't working.

Food is phenomenal! We did a combination and grape leaves. Homemade pita, tomatoes and cucumbers. I am so full. Mel was amazing. Service was sweet and pleasant. Very kind and caring. Sat outside for the view of the water. It's so pleasant and relaxing.

Previously attended the opening of this restaurant with a yelp event. Came back for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. The place is now open all dayfor light breakfast, lunch and dinner.We started with a tray of three dips, stuffed grape leaves and pita bread. All were excellent.Enough for 2-3 persons.We than ordered a gyro platter and Greekchicken platter. Very generous portions anddelicious.We were too full to have a pistachio baklavaand Turkish coffee.Parking can be difficult, but there is valetparking available.Location is on the bay with great outdoor views while dining.
