Mimi’s Bakery

I can't say enough good things about Mimi's Bakery in Lake Wales! Their cinnamon rolls are pure perfection--soft, gooey, and just the right amount of sweetness. My daughter got the strawberry & cheese danishes and I tried a bite...Absolutely heavenly. You can tell everything is made fresh with love and attention to detail.The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this bakery is a must-visit. Trust me, one visit and you'll be hooked! I'll definitely be back for more.

ABSOLUTELY the best quality and value anywhere in Central Florida. Period. Ham, egg, and cheese croissant is delish and huge.

The best addition to Lake Wales! I have been enjoying Mimi's treats for years before the bakery opened (her custom cakes are awesome). Each time I try something different I have a new favorite item. I never knew gluten free cookies could be so good! Everything is made fresh and service is quick! The love and hard work that goes into each item is evident as soon you take a bite. Speaking of taking a bite, there is no such thing as just one... you will definitely finish what you start at Mimi's. The ambiance is both refreshing and quaint. Mimi's knows how to keep your heart happy and your belly full! Definitely a hidden gem!

This cute little shop has some sit down seat as well as a walk up counter. They have giant cookies and the moistest danishes ever! Their whole wheat sourdough is tender and delightful!

If I could give a lower rating I would. This app won't let me choose only one star. First, this is supposed to be a bakery. When we arrived, it had only a few cookies, I chocolate-filled croissant (unrecognizable), and some plastic-wrapped bagels in the back! We ordered two coffees and the croissant. The coffees were extremely strong like they'd been brewing all morning. The server offered no sugar, or spoons, just coffee in paper cups. She did put what she considered appropriate among half and half in the cups when asked. The croissant looked like something to cook at home from the freezer section at Walmart, again offered with a napkin only, no plate, no knife, fork, or anything. I expected at least a cup, a plate, cutlery, and a smile. We would have gotten better coffee and sweets at a McDonald's Cafe, and real cups and utensils too! I do not recommend this place, false advertising as a bakery, is just the lowest common denominator in bad fast food service. There was only one other person in the room, and I suspect he was the server's husband because he looked over and offered to get us a spoon! Considering it's 2024, I expected some semblance of environmental responsibility, not all plastic and throw-away paper products, instead of reusable pottery. Disappointing experience. Save your time and money.

Best bagels around! Wow this adorable little cafe has a great selection of many different flavors from linzar cookies to cannolli. All types of bread and croissants. Cupcakes are delicious and prices are very reasonable. Sit down cafe is super clean and cute. Friendly service too!

This is a perfect place to meet friends and have tasty pastries. We shared a strawberry cream cheese bun and the ham and cheese roll up flaky croissant. Lovely. The coffee was delish also.
