Mike's Sushi & Sake Bar

Truly, one of my favorite sushi places in all of Pinellas County. We have been coming here for years and it is always consistently excellent. Such friendly service and the sushi chefs knock it out of the park every time. Lots of other great treats like shumai and Gyoza. They also offer Bento boxes and teriyaki and a lot of other things as well that would be delicious. Nice happy hour specials too. This visit we had some of our favorites the Mexican roll, the Green Dragon roll, Peppered. Tuna roll and the rare but wonderful treat of Toro on sushi rice. If you've never had Toro, it is the most buttery and clean tasting tuna you'll ever taste. I'm so glad our super nice server recommended it. It's not always available, but if it is definitely worth ordering. So grateful to have such wonderful food so close to home.

Our favorite sushi spot!Very cute intimate interior. Service is quick and friendly. Most importantly, Sushi is so fresh!!! Happy hour is 4:30-7 with very affordable rolls, appetizers and drinks. We usually get the spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls and they never disappoint. I'm stingy with my five star reviews but Mike's sushi is definitely deserving.

Came to Mike's on a rainy night this week. Promptly sat at the sushi bar. Fast service and quick rolls provided.y favorite sushi spot in town.

Ambiance was good! Service was good despite busy night! The sushi looked great and was served in a cool wooden boat. Sushi fish was fresh ! The only reason for 4 star is the taste! We ordered 6 different types of rolls but all tasted almost the same! Not sure why the rolls missed that special flavors!

Wow, wow, wow! I don't typically award 5 stars to anywhere I've been only once-but this place was superb. Definitely our newest sushi place--EXTREMELY fresh and beautiful presentation of sushi. A lovely spot for an intimate date night; nice and quiet, pretty lighting. The prices on their Happy Hour menu (on weekends too!) are excellent for the quality of what you're getting.

Stopped by here for lunch with a friend. Seated immediately. Staff was super friendly and waters were always full.The menu is huge, tons of options to choose from! I ordered from the lunch menu, which was $12.99 for 2 basic rolls plus a salad or soup. The salad was a basic ginger salad, which I'm always a fan of. The rolls were very average, nothing to write home about. Good, typically sushi spot.

Still my favorite neighborhood sushi place . Good food, friendly staff, clean restaurant & RR. Fast service, great pick-up option. My favorite : spider sushi & any of the ladies/ dragons- green pink volcano

Decided to try this one since I have seen it on my commute to home. It just opened and the place was empty. I liked the quiet as I could focus. Ordered the Pokki Tuna and a Kirin Ichiban to start. They provided a pencil so I assumed that I mark the quantity and selection I wanted. My waiter was a young man who I assumed was a family member or friend. The Pokki Tuna is a good starter as the tuna was fresh and the cucumber had a refreshing taste. Here is my platter with spicy tuna, eel, and more. The Happy Tuna I ordered was a novelty selection for me from the chef's menu. It was fried which I didn't read. Going to fast. It was enjoyable but I would not get it again. The sushi was good and most importantly fresh. It was a satisfying experience. I'm glad I tried so many different items. Now I can come back and go for specific things. All in all they rate a 4.4 stars.
