Michoacana Neveria & Paleteria

This Mexican dessert store is very attractive. If you like popsicles, you come to the right place. They carry many types popsicles in the store. They also has mangonada. If you like a scoop of ice cream, they also has many choices. Other than the sweets treat, they also has the fruit cup per your request. You very much can pile up the fruit cup you like. We got the the fruita with many berry Popsicle. This is milk base with different kind of berries. I like it because it has good variety taste. My wife got the gold chocolate popsicle. She has a chocolate ball at the end of the stick. Very interesting. So far our experience is definitely delicious. They are many items can be try here. Need to come back later to try more.

This place is amazing! Like 100 flavors of ice cream and sorbets to choose from. Twice I have gotten the fruit bowl with ice cream and it's a huge portion! It comes with your choice of 4 fruits and a huge scoop of whichever ice cream you like! I got passion fruit this time. They also have smoothies, shakes, popsicles etc! I usually buy like 5 popsicles when I go because there are so many choices and they're so delicious! The service is always great and so are the prices. Definitely give it a try if you are around the area!

I was craving some ice cream and decided to come here since it's so close to home and have good reviews!! I had their paleteria. They didn't have it ready but the made it.It has the mango as a base and added hot chocolate and sprinkled coconut! I thought it was good but the chocolate was a bit much. I got there and what I didn't like was they don't take people know order. It's weird

This place offers so many choices of cold, sweet treats. We got there one weekday late afternoon; they were not busy. They dotted out the prices of the menu on the bulletin board. We had to check with the store young lady how much each item. At the end I purchased a ferrero popsicle. The popsicle was so cute with a ferrero Rocher ball thread thru the popsicle stick. The degree of sweetness and texture were perfect. What a delightful treat for the hot summer day! The service was average. The pricing was a bit high for certain items. And yet their paleteria are definitely worth trying.

I love mangonadas, and my whole family loves ice cream. I bribed my daughter to make the trek up Dale Mabry to check this place out. They have a wide variety of snacks and treats here. You can get fresh juices, ice creams, paletas, all sorts of fruit cups, and any number of loco iterations. There were 4 people working when I arrived, but because everything is made to order and the person ahead of me had 8 separate things she was ordering, we ended up waiting 20 minutes to order, which was not great.My daughter had a scoop of chocolate ice cream and a scoop of strawberry ice cream, all topped with sprinkles. The serving size was huge. Sadly, because she wanted two flavors, I was told she needed a large ice cream. They would not do two small scoops. She definitely could not finish even a quarter of her ice cream, which was a sticky shame.I ordered a fruit cup and a mangonada to take home. I also ordered some chicharrones, but my server forgot about that (she also didn't charge me for them, so at least we were even), and at that point, I was so tired of being there, I let it go.The fruit cup was pretty, but most of the fruit was not very ripe. Many times, places get away with this by sprinkling everything with the limon juice, salt and pepper, but I was not offered this. So I ended up paying for a large cup of not-sweet fruit. Disappointing.The mangonada was okay. It was mostly the mango sorbet and under-ripe mango. The tamarind and Chamoy did give it a nice salty-savory taste to it. It was not my favorite mangonada in Tampa. There are closer places for me to get ice cream, mangonadas, and paletas.

Wherever there is a Michoacana Ice Cream Shop, we r so there. The first time these came under our radar was when we went back to visit Chicago and saw a bunch of them there and had one in Des Plaines, IL. We didn't know these were all over the place and they have a diverse amount of different ice cream flavors, fruit salads, and snacks.When we saw them in Florida we were so excited. There weren't as many, but they are around. This is the third Michoacana that we have been to. We have also been to one in Plant City and Sarasota.This time I wanted to try the fruit salad with ice cream. This is so wonderful. Ice cream is healthy when it comes with fruit salad right. It was all fresh cut up fruit cut right in front of you which is so appealing. So think three fruits - strawberry, mango, and pineapple, choice of yogurt(chose pina Colada). That is on top of the fruit. Then ice cream choice - we chose Rum Raisin(Ron Con Pasas). Three toppings and the last one was whatever syrup you want. I chose the hardened hot fudge. It was amazing!!They also have agua frescas, popsicles, fruit salads, mangonadas, and salty snacks like corn and chips and whatever else they add.This is awesome. It is a pretty good size location. It gets busy too, but they are fast. They are all masked and there are a number of tables inside that are spaced out.So happy that we can try samples of the ice cream because there is so much variety!! Love it!!

Sadly it's the same 3 ladies that does not attend to you. No customer service skills what so ever. Wasn't like this when they first opened so I'm not sure what happened. It gives the place very bad vibes

Love this place! Unbelievably delicious ice cream! I get the strawberry milkshake with chocolate around the inside of the cup with strawberry puree!Worth every penny!Haven't had the Popsicles but they look amazeballs

Perfect summer spot. After getting some lunch we stopped by and grabbed some ice cream and a mango paleta. Everything was delicious and the service was friendly and quick. It was packed but they kept everything flowing fast. Definitely our new favorite dessert spot

Great ice cream but why have hours open till 11 if you're going to lock your door with customers inside waiting at 10:05? Hey if y'all don't want the business terrific, treat folks like that. I won't be back. But at least change your hours as not to waste folks time.
