Friendly and bright compared to the "typical" Melting Pot. It isn't your dark cuddly spot. I wasn't even in Taylor's section (I was at bar) and she was very helpful and friendly! You must try the salted caramel martini from Jackson! Apparently not on menu but definitely need to try!! Taste like fall fair without mess! Well if I have more than a few it may get messy!Happy hour specials give u chance to try more than one thing!Had the fondue and sticky ribs! Yuuuum!

Food is tasty (personally I love their chocolate fondues and the fact you can change out the sides on ANY of their fondues). Also hide fan of the potstickers!!I've never had bad service for the times I've gone. Inside is fun and a great spot on a Friday/weekend night.I just do wish they maybe opened til 12am on Friday and Saturday nights (especially if I'm seeing a show at Straz Center and want a snack after the show). Some things on the menu are a little pricey imo for the portion you get.

Dining at The Melting Pot Social is not just a meal, it's an experience. The atmosphere is less intimate as the regular Melting Pot making this a more casual, relaxed date night or for me, a great place to take my kids for an unforgettable evening. My heart was set on getting the cheese and chocolate fondue but I happened to arrive during Happy Hour and was able to enjoy some other items. The meal began with the cheese fondue, and I chose the Monterey. The blend of sharp cheese, splash of rosé created a creamy, flavorful dip, perfect for the fresh bread, crisp apples, and crunchy vegetables that accompanied it.Next, I tried the MeltSO Mac + Cheese , which was a generous portion of mac and cheese served on top of a crostini. This is a must try and a favorite amongst both my children! For the entrée, I went with the Sweet Spiced Sticky Ribs and wow!. The flavor was incredible and the sweet and spicy added unique flavor profiles to each bite. Finally, the chocolate fondue stole the show. I chose the classic Milk Chocolate with cookie dough, bacon and candied pecans and it was pure decadence. Paired with strawberries, rice crispy treats, and other delicacies, it was the perfect way to end the meal. This place was more than just dinner; it's a chance to savor every bite while enjoying a hands-on, social dining experience. The service was incredible throughout the night and my waitress was incredible, making my kids feel special the entire time. I'd highly recommend it for date nights, a first fondue experience for your young ones or anyone looking to enjoy a leisurely, indulgent meal.

A few of us were in the area for the Gasparilla Art fair and wanted some lunch. I checked Google maps and was surprised to see the Melting Pot, which I had always wanted to try but never been to. We walked over to check out the menu and were pleasantly surprised with the reasonable prices and selection - there was something for everyone. Inside it was bright and cheery and full of folks from all walks of life - a birthday party, families, couples. I ordered the shrub which was super refreshing after a hot day outdoors, and the customized white wine based fondue and mixed in mushrooms and garlic. It came with so many delicious items to dip: roasted potatoes, tortilla chips, green apple slices, cherry tomatoes, broccoli and a soft pretzel. I also ordered the crispy Brussel sprouts. It was a dreamy lunch and enough for everyone at the table to have some bites, but plenty for me for lunch. My friends got the goat cheese and fig bread (which I sampled) and it was so good with crunch almond slices on top. We had such a lovely time. Our waitress let us know this location is closing due to low sales, which is a shame. I wish the team the best of luck and hope the company will pursue this lighter fair version of The Melting Pot, I found it absolutely delightful, accessible and affordable. Our service was excellent and the food was fantastic.

My friend and I went for brunch over the weekend and the ambience was nice with a very clean atmosphere. She had the waffles which she said were all right overall and I had the avocado toast, which was good, but I wish it had been toasted a little longer because it got slightly soft on the bottom.I would be open to returning to tryout their dessert options. I've been to another melting pot location before, but it has been several years since I've had that experience and it looks like the menu has been expanded since then.

Unpopular opinion: I do not like fondue. Clarification: I don't like fondue when I have to cook my own food. However, dipping anything in chocolate I'm 100% good with.Due to the above, I'm not a fan of the original Melting Pot, but having looked over this menu before venturing here, I love that they have plenty of non-fondue options. My friend and I went for brunch, when they offer a special brunch menu. We started with cocktails, of course. I tried the Blackberry Lavender Shrug, with vodka, vinegar, blackberry and lavender syrup, lemon juice and club soda. I really enjoyed the unusual flavor; I never would have thought of putting vinegar in a drink but it really cut down the sweetness. For my meal I tried the Hangover Brunch Burger, and it was perfect. It came with fondue cheese (ordered on the side), fried egg, and bacon. I loved that I could pay a couple of bucks extra for the pickle fries, because I really liked those - and loved the "angry ranch" dressing they were served with for dipping. The restaurant was clean and bright, the server efficient and engaging, and the food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. This is a great spot for brunch, or for a meal or cocktail when catching a show at the performing arts center.

What a treat this place is and what a great location! (except parking)...But got here early before a show and sat at the bar and ordered some yummy stuff off the menu for happy hour.I went with the cream ale and had the Fuego fondue... it was really enough for 2, but my friend ordered the Monterrey and although it had blue cheese and almonds in it (not for me!) I took a teeny tiny taste just for the flavor of the cheese because it was white queso, which I really like and it was such a tiny dab I think I liked it, but did not want to taint that flavor with any blue cheese and almonds. The almonds were easy to get around, they were slivered and on top in the middle... Both fondues were served with the same dippers, chips or tortillas, broccoli, tiny potatoes, grape tomatoes and a tasty breadstick - maybe pretzel-like... it might have been fun to have a couple of different dippers for each of the different fondues, but that's just me being picky. The service was super nice, they are young, our bartender was ShaWn, he was really nice and helpful. There are some questions still they had because I ask questions, but overall, this is a great spin off from the traditional melting pot where you can still get your fondue on!Definitely a go-back-to spot for me.

My best friend and I had dinner here before a show at the Straz. It is a quick walk across the street and the food, service and atmosphere were all stellar. We had some shareables and drinks. Everything was great. Our server made suggestions since we'd never eaten here before.
