Medina River Coffee Roasters - Tampa

Best coffee ice had in ages! Found out about this place through a Yelp event, and I have returned several times now. Their vanilla caramel latte and the avocado toast. Both of which are absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, fun, and playful in the right mood. I'll be back in a month

Thank you Medina River Coffee Roasters and Yelp for hosting this event! I love a great cup of coffee so I was excited for the opportunity to try a new coffee spot in Tampa! My husband and I usually brew our own coffee at home via Nespresso machine, AeroPress, or French press so I was hoping to find a new spot to purchase coffee beans from. We lucked out during our visit on Sunday morning and didn't have any line at 10am.I decided to bring my whole family so I could sample as much as the breakfast menu as possible. I'm not a huge fan of cold brew and knew that a cold brew flight would be served to me so I ordered a plain cup of coffee so I could sample the coffee without all the sugar and syrups. I ordered the Everything Avocado Toast and my husband ordered the Glazed Avocado Toast. My boys ordered a blueberry muffin and the French toast with strawberries and bananas.My husband and I were disappointed that the avocado on the avocado toast was whipped like guacamole. We would have preferred the avocado to be sliced instead for a little more texture. I was disappointed that there was barely a trace of everything bagel seasoning on my Everything Avocado Toast. I really wanted the crunch of the sesame seeds and poppyseeds. My son's French Toast looked so disappointing. I would have assumed that they would have used the same thick cut sourdough bread as the avocado toast, but instead it was the two thinnest slices of bread that was accompanied by a packet of fake maple syrup. My son loves French Toast, but sadly said his dish smelled funny and only ate a few bites before pushing it away. The blueberry muffin was the highlight of the food we ordered.The shop had oddly ran out of cold brew coffee on a Sunday morning so the barista made my coffee flight with espresso instead. I actually preferred this because cold brew tends to upset my stomach. Before my flight arrived I got the chance to try my plain coffee that I ordered and am disappointed to say it wasn't great. The coffee tasted a little burnt. The first beverage on the flight, "Berry Into You" reminded me of strawberry milk. I wasn't a fan, but my husband liked it. "Cupid Cold Brew" was much better, but still extremely sweet. My least favorite drink on the flight was the "Strawberry Rose Matcha". To be fair, I don't like matcha, but I really don't like it when it's mixed with strawberry milk. The "Chocolate Cheesecake" wasn't bad, but I couldn't handle more than a few sips because it was one of the richest and sweetest drinks on the coffee flight. After sampling so many disappointing items on the menu my husband and I agreed that we wouldn't return. Unfortunately I can make much better coffee, avocado toast, and French toast at home for a fraction of the cost that we spent at Medina River Coffee Roasters.

I was in downtown Tampa for work, and after wrapping up, I wanted a morning coffee and a quick bite. After searching nearby, I found Medina River Coffee Roasters and decided to check it out.The ambiance was cool, calm, and peaceful, with plenty of seating and great spots for social media selfies.From the menu, I ordered an Iced Latte and Everything Avocado Toast. The service was quick, and I soon had my order. The avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and it paired perfectly with my iced latte, making a great breakfast combo.Medina River Coffee Roasters is a fantastic spot to relax, enjoy great coffee, and snap some cool pictures!

I visited Medina River coffee with my lady during Valentine's Day. The staff was very friendly, the space was eclectic and spacious. Real comfortable spaces where you could work, go on a date, or just hang out. Love the vibe.We ordered an avocado toast. Fresh ingredients, great flavor, very surprise for a place that is just focused on coffee primarily. We also got a Valentine's Day coffee flight, and every single one of those coffees was delicious. They are essentially desserts, so approach it with that knowledge. We would definitely return.

Medina River is near UT and has a good location for its students. Vibey atmosphere everyone is studying or writing essays. Got the Valentine's Day flight as well as the Nutella French toast. The French toast was different, delish, and filled with Nutella! The flights were delish even though they were out of cold foam. Our favorite was the Berry into you - perfect blend of sweet and bitter. Cheesecake was great as well. Would definitely come back!

Such a cute coffee shop! I got the Valentine's Day flight, and it was both delicious and beautifully presented. Loved the design! I was a little sad the matcha wasn't available, but I went with the chocolate strawberry instead, which was still pretty good. My favorite was definitely Berry Into You--so good! Would love to come back and try more and work from there too.

I really like the concept of the coffee flight because you can try a bunch of different flavors. I got the Valentine's Day one, which was their preset one for the month of February but you can build your own, which is probably what I will do next time. Great way to try new drinks/ flavor combos without committing to a full drink

Coffee shop has great vibes. Awesome seating for both lounging, drinking/ eating, or working. They have work spaces set up that have dividers to minimize distractions. Music is perfect volume to not be distracting yet still have good background noise. We got a flight of coffee to try out that had Berry Into You, Cupids Cold Brew, Strawberry Rose Matcha, and Chocolate Cheesecake. Berry Into You was my favorite. Although it's super sweet and I'm not into sweet coffee's, it had the strongest coffee flavor and a nice fruit after taste. This was the sweetest out of 4.Cupids Cold Brew was very chocolatey with a cold brew after taste. Sweet as well, but in an over powering way for me. The bitterness from the chocolate was nice though. Strawberry Matcha was a matcha latte with a slight hint of strawberry. It tasted like strawberry milk with the earthiness from the matcha. Very enjoyable. Chocolate Cheese cake was surprisingly the least sweet and was pleasant. Neither a strong coffee taste or strong sugar taste. Just a mild chocolate coffee. Overall the experience was very nice. Although none of the drinks stood out to me (because they're all sweet) I would come back here and try their normal lattes and black coffee. Definitely a cool place to come hangout or do some work.

It's hard to see from Kennedy Street, unless you're on your feet. But this industrial coffee shop across from the Enterprise car rental is a bop! A lot of coffee lovers come here to work on their laptops. Jessica, my cashier, recommended the Glazed Avocado toast and it didn't disappoint. Lots of toppings and generous with the balsamic glaze just like I like it. I loved the Valentine Flight! Keep in mind my coffee preference is sweet with a mixture of flavor profiles. I know that's not everyone's taste, but I do feel there is something for everyone here. If you like an open airy modern vibe, this is your place! Only downside is due to the attention and care they put in, it can take sometime for your order to be out.

I went to Medina for the first time and was surprised how cute it was inside! It was close to closing time so I took my order to go. I had the avocado toast which was so delicious and the mango pineapple lemonade which was AMAZING!The employees were also very nice. I will be back.
