I marinated their flanken-cut beef ribs for 24 hours the Hawaiian-style BBQ way. Then low and slow in the oven and they turned out amazing!

I made the drive here specifically for flanken-cut beef ribs. I arrived early in the day and unfortunately, there were none ready in the case.Once I told the clerk what I wanted at the meat counter, he gladly offered to go in the back and cut my meat to order!Instead of going the Latin or Korean recipe route, I went for Hawaiian-style BBQ and marinated my ribs in soy sauce, pineapple juice, fresh garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Oven-baked low and slow, they turned out fantastic!I bought just 2 pounds. Next time I will definitely buy 4 pounds!Just 4 stars for now, because I have only visited here once. The quality, service, and value here are all excellent! I will be coming back soon...

Huge meat selection there. The other day I was in there and an Indian couple came in and bought some goat. They also have very thick beef ribs.Prices are good. The butcher is also very happy to help you with special requests. For example, if you want to grind a brisket and use it as hamburger meat, he'll do that, no problem. Friendly staff. We go back regularly.

The people were very nice, but maybe because I went later on a Saturday afternoon the selection was not super good on the beef part of the meat case. The prices were OK, though not as good as they had been apparently - judging by the Facebook post that showed the prices on the meat awhile back . But it was OK. I might go back. I got flanken beef ribs and two of the pieces had a gray-green bit on the fat after 1 day in my fridge. I cut that off and once cooked the meat seemed fine.

M o C is a a nice locally owned store with a wide variety of meat at very good prices. It not only has Spanish groceries but some very interesting items from other countries like the loaves of Jamaican spiced bread, and bags of frozen cooked crawfish. I like going in not only for meat but to look for things not commonly found in your run of the mill market.

Love this place. Seems family run. Clean and well stocked. Great place to grab turkey wings, neck bones ( smoked and not smoked),thin breakfast pork chops, thick bacon, etc. Service is always efficient. If you are friendly with the employees they are always kind. I've been going in there so many times. Would definitely recommend.

I bought a prime rib roast but there was nothing prime about it. I considered it a lesser grade of beef. It was cooked to perfection (med-medium rare) and was extremely tough. Hard to cut and hard to chew. Ruined out New Years Eve dinner party. Very dissatisfied and will not be returning. I've read good reviews here so maybe it's just the "prime" rib that fails.

Stopped in yesterday on a whim.....was delighted to have the butcher hand cut a 16oz Bone in Ribeye to my liking. Seasoned and grilled it when I got home and it was "perfect". Great pricing and be sure to ask if there's something you like that you don't see in the meat case.
