Mary's bagel cafe

Very nice newer looking business. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Neat coffee shop decor. I had the lox and bagel with plain cream cheese on a plain bagel. It was delicious and had a good amount of lox as well as toppings. The bagel was also good. Now I gave them four stars because they only had plain coffee. No lattes or other specialty drinks. They were crossed off the menu. I opted for the sweet tea which was delicious but really would have loved to have a peppermint mocha latte or something like that. Would have made the whole experience a solid five. Parking lot is a bit tight for a full size vehicle but there is another lot behind that is more open.

Solid bagel spot. They have been here 2 years and this is the only true bagel place I know of in Lakeland. Workers and owners are nice. Good menu options too. Restaurant was clean and had nice seating. Pretty good bagel spot for Florida.

What a delightful experience! First time visit, expecting bagels. We certainly got that and a full menu of breakfast options, wings, sandwiches, juices ( organic OJ is delicious), soda, coffees. Wow. Fantastic cinnamon buns, bagels( oven stops at 10:45), delicious plain and flavored cream cheese. We chatted with the owner, who grew up on the lot where her store now is. Pretty cool. Located across from the hospital, plenty of parking. If you're in Lakeland, make a point of visiting-a really good place!

The bagels are terrific. They are all very good. My favorite is the pumpernickel!The counter people are pleasant and display wonderful personalities. The place is clean and well kept. You can't order in advance by phone or on their web site. The times I have gone have been afternoon. There wasn't much of a selection left at that time.

We recently visited Mary's Bagel Cafe for breakfast. The menu had several great options and the bagel choices were plentiful. But get there early. They do run out of bagels! The staff was very friendly and we had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, Mary herself. We enjoyed a bacon, egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel and a ham, egg and cheese on a plain bagel. Both were delish. We will definitely go back. Tip: Main parking lot is small with a steep incline at exit, but no worries. There is an additional lot right behind Mary's for parking also.

Who'd have thought you'd find a fresh bagel shop in the middle of Lakeland? First off these are not NY Bagels as only NY really has that distinction. For Lakeland though these are good bagels for the area. The onion and everything bagels are loaded with onions and everything seasoning.The staff is very friendly and the interior is wide open and clean. The sandwich menu is very diverse and pays homage to NY and NJ especially with Taylor Ham or Pork Roll depending on your location in NJ.We also took some bagels home for later and some cream cheese, though I wish they had a better selection of cream cheese's.

I had Wall Street sandwich. Another patron gave me one of her drumsticks fresh out of the grease!!! The cheese grits were made to PERFECTION!!! Anddd the red velvet cake is

Don't get me wrong it's a cute place but the Food isn't very good and the people who work there are extremely rude.

Great service and good. Just passing thru and stopped for breakfast. Excellent! Looks fairly new and I'd come again if I lived nearby.
