Marvin is a love of local residents. A lot of local love the seafood take out. This seafood market has fresh seafood in the market and cooking the seafood in the same spot. The order of the cook seafood is not in the store. It is on the side of cover side windows. The menu include garlic or fried seafood. We got the combo. This combo include fried seafood with crab, fish, shrimp, fries, and hush puppies. We add additional fried crab for additional $3.5. We like the crab because the meat is fresh. At the end they give us three crabs due to smaller size crab to make up the difference. We like the food. The seafood is fresh and good quality.

This is my go to spot when I'm in the mood for some fried blue crabs! I love the batter they use and the customer service is always great! Y'all should check this place out next time you're in the area, "always flavorful never flavorless."

Recently visited this restaurant and was knocked of my feet by the cuisine. The food is well seasoned and freshly cooked to order. The customer service is friendly and family oriented. There isn't really seating available so most orders will have to be takeout. I would recommend giving this Marvin's Oriental Fish Co. a try.

Good portions. 15 min wait on a Saturday afternoon. Reasonable prices. Food is not highly seasoned. Good for people who need to watch their sodium, but that's not me. They sell fresh fish and prepared meals. Be sure to ask for condiments before you leave.

A friend recommended Marvin's when they heard I've been on a hunt for blue crabs. The phone was answered quickly when I called, although the worker could hardly hear me when she answered because some man was hollering the background. She was helpful in discussing their options, and I ordered half a dozen blue crabs with hush puppies. The store is located in a sketchy part of town, so even though they have porch seating to eat, I would definitely get it to-go in the evenings. The building is very old and run down. Everyone I encountered in the store, from the man behind the fish counter, to the cashier, to the manager was super friendly. My food was ready by the time I had paid for it.I got home to discover that they had given me fried blue crabs instead of the garlic butter ones I thought I had ordered. No biggie though-I've always wanted to try them cooked this way. The batter was nice and light, and the crunchiness was an interesting balance to the soft crab meat. I did find most of the crabs to be very small and somewhat mushy inside unfortunately. The hush puppies were fresh and good however. I'll have to go back again to try the garlic butter crabs-and now I know to specify medium or large when I return.

Came by here again for the 2nd time & i had the fried tilapia sandwich...beautifully fried but i didnt taste any seasoning.

Marvin is super nice and has great seafood. He has known my husband for years and has a great conversation with him.

I went there on a Saturday. After I entered the lady behind the counter said lock the door. It was locked by another customer. I place my order and after already waiting 10 minutes she tells me, "Oh we're closed". No one told me they were closed and it was early enough to place my order. The food is ok there, but with that type of service, they will never get another penny of my money. Anyone who asks me, I will not recommend them based on this incident. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Overall great 1st visit. My family and I enjoyed the grouper ( a little too much salt) and smoked mullet. The garlic crabs smelled amazing. Definitely on the list to try next time.
