We decided to try Martin's Indian Cuisine for Saturday lunch after hearing about it from a friend. Although it was a 30-minute drive from our place, we were excited to explore their menu.Upon arrival, we realized Martin's is a takeout-only restaurant. After browsing the menu, we ordered Mutton Biryani, Chicken Curry, Kothu Parotta, Fish, and Chicken Cutlet. The wait time for our order was about 45 minutes, and we headed home eager to try the food.We started with the Chicken Cutlet, which was decent but could have been better. Next, we enjoyed the Chicken Curry with Butter Naan, which was a highlight of the meal. The curry was flavorful, with perfectly cooked chicken and spices that truly delighted our taste buds. The Mutton Biryani was another standout, with tender, well-cooked mutton and great seasoning. I had high hopes for the Kothu Parotta--it was good, but the flavor didn't quite meet my expectations. Lastly, the Fish was well-cooked and seasoned with a delicious blend of spices.Overall, it was a satisfying lunch from Martin's Indian Cuisine. We're looking forward to trying more items from their menu in the future!

This is a restaurant where you would want to order dishes from the southern Indian state of Kerala. The only place in Tampa Bay specializing in cuisine from that Indian region. They've got the typical northern Indian food as well. The food is awesome and service is sincere. It's mainly a take out restaurant with sparse in-dining space.

Tried them today, got Paneer Tikka Masala. I thought it was very tasty and a good portion for the price. There is nowhere to sit, you have to get it to-go.The rice had some exotic herbs in it which was great. My one problem (and reason I won't return) is that some nasty oil is used in the rice. I avoid seed oils such as canola (the worst), soybean oil, corn oil, etc). They aren't good for us at all. I had to throw the rice away. Just steam the rice and don't include nasty oil and I'd be a regular customer.

Average food, very long wait, takeout only. Came on a Friday afternoon for lunch. It's a small place, no tables, they offer takeout only. We got 3 dishes, I got the chicken tikka masala and seems they used more cream, less tomato in their recipe so it tastes a bit different from other places, it wasn't terrible and I was still able to eat it. What I didn't like was the excessive wait time. For 3 dishes and naan we were told it would take 30-40min. We went to a nearby business for smoothies and to kill some time then came back but still had to wait extra. Actual wait time for food was more like 1 hour! Not worth the wait. If you're going to get food here, order ahead by 1 hour from when you want it.

WOW!After years of trying to gather the courage to try Indian food I finally did it, and holy smokes I didn't realize how bad I had been missing out. Today I was recommended that I get Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. However while I was there I decided to add on an order of Samosa's. I placed my order and was told to return in 15 minutes. I came back and was greeted by Martin himself! I explained that it was my first time trying Indian cuisine and joked about the funny review I had read before coming in. Martin was an awesome guy, and made my experience very enjoyable. The place smelled amazing, and had the vibes of a good takeout joint. When I got home I was beyond excited to try the food. My wife and I immediately tried the Samosa's and they were amazing! The pastry was so soft and flaky. It melted in my mouth and the flavors left a beautiful and spicy aftertaste. Next we tried dipping our Naan in the Butter Chicken and good lord almighty that rocked my soul. The flavors of the butter chicken were immaculate, and mixing that with the perfectly cooked and flavorful Naan was out of this world. The chicken was so soft and had some spice that blended really well with the sweet and savory butter sauce.I was beyond satisfied and both my wife and I were to full to finish our meals. I will be eating the rest for my late night snack. To finish this review I'd like to say that I recommend trying Indian food if you never have, and that my recommendations are the Butter Chicken with an order of Garlic Naan. And also definitely trying the Samosa's. Dip the samosa in the butter chicken, I swear it will change the game for you. Thank you :)

The food is so good. I love Indian cuisine and it's hard to come by in this area. I was disappointed that they don't offer saag dishes but it could be due to saag not being specific to this region of Indian cuisine. My hubby and I order the goat biryani wrapped in the banana leaves and OMG, sooooo delicious. We also like to get the parrota bread. If they weren't 30 min away from us we'd probably go broke with the amount of times we'd order from here if they were closer.

I have never noticed this place until today as we were walking to our car after dollar general, we were drawn in by the smell!! Wow! I said we need to check this place out - stopped in for a menu and ended up placing an order. Very happy we did, it did take some time but well worth the wait! We got the tikki masala and butter chicken with rice and Malabar parotta. Everything was about 36$ and we got plenty of food. Thank you!

Love coming here for Indian take out! Not a sit down restaurant, but call ahead and order samosas and a curry and you'll be so pleased you did! Just check your bag before you leave, we have noticed missing items a couple of times.

This place has the best Kerala and generally Indian cuisine in all of Florida, if not beyond. We come from Orlando for some other work, and this is the highlight of our trip, knowing we can buy lunch here. We usually do takeaway for three days! Its takeout only, and it is worth the effort For us to go and eat at a park near by. Also, there are chairs so you can wait and even snack in comfort! They have remodeled the place, so it's even more spacious now. Starting with appetizers. We have tried all the vegetarian options on display. Its neck to neck so all come first. Samosas, dal Vada and onion bhajis! All tops. Chutney provided. In mains all the biryanis are excellent! Vegetables korma, yumm! And definitely try the Chana, it's the more nutritious black Chana, and cooked to perfection, yummy thick gravy with real coconut chips, adding a meaty texture to the rich flavor. We liked the Thoran, cabbage vegetable also cooked to perfection. We have earlier tried the jackfruit biryani, and goat biryani. This time we got vegetarian biryani and chicken biryani. Biryanis come with raita. You can taste the freshness even in the raita. They provide pickles as well. Their Malabar parotta is awesome, also the appam we had last time. The spices and ingredients are super fresh and you can taste the difference. Clearly a kitchen that takes itself seriously. Servings are extra large and easily shared by at least two very hungry people, and if you buy more than one main, it's a generous meal for three, with some left overs! Really. All mains come with generous servings fragrant rice.Takeout utensils are sturdy and superior quality. They hold up well for the two hour drive to Orlando. Even their tea is delicious. It comes in a sturdy (not average foam) bigger than standard cup, with a closed lid, and you can open the liftable bit to drink when ready to drink. I think this is the Tampa area's best jewel in the crown of Indian cuisine!
