Soup, Soda, baby size piece of chicken, and French fries for $21. This place is a prime example as to why I stopped going out to eat. It's a rip off for the price. The chicken was so small a 1 year old could eat it. The chicken was also heavily salted. The customer service was efficient. I would come back for the soup. Nothing more.

If you are looking for some tasty Spanish food at a reasonable price, then look no further than Martins BBQ ! This place is very inexpensive and they give you tons of food! The food is seasoned so well and this is by far the BEST Rotisserie style chicken in Tampa! It's located in the Waters and Hanley Plaza near Publix and super quick and convenient! I ordered the 1/4 Chicken meal and this was more than plenty food for two people. This meal was around $11 and came with a drink!

Saturday we had errands to run and decided to stop by Martin's BBQ! Since we lived in Puerto Rico for a couple of years and our Martin's BBQ located in Bayamon PR 00959 was the BEST! Now living in PR we missed it and craved it. Martin's BBQ here in is located in an open mall concept. Parking is not a problem at all unless you want to park right in front of the establishment.Depending on people, the "mall" does not look appealing this would be one of the reasons customers would rather not visit the establishment, The area looks "rough". As far as the establishment is small, well spaced out, couple of table's approximately 7-8 tables. The walls are decorated with paintings of Puerto Rico (Loved it.) Customers who are making the line have no choice to be around customers who are at their table eating. Depending on the customers, this can be a turn off. When we walked in we were not greeted. I will be honest, I am PUERTO RICAN we are very warming, caring and we love to cook and have people over! With this being said: They can at least hear the door open and greet: Welcome to Martin's BBQ! Bienvenido a Martin's BBQ! Our turned reached at the counter and who attended us was Kiara. Sadly she should not be the face of the restaurant. She had an attitude or either she was overwhelmed by the line. If either of those were the case then she shouldn't be working there. We looked at the menu, but we felt rushed! She should've paused and waited because you don't know if that customer has never been in that restaurant. We ordered and we said the "wrong" name of the combo. She corrected us with a nasty attitude. I felt horrible! We stood because we had children and they really wanted to eat there and go down memory lane. While waiting, we did hear and see when the same employee gave attitude again to the other customer behind us and on top responded to the other customer with a sarcastic comment. That's when I felt "Oh, no she needs to check her customer service attitude." The kitchen is an open view, you are able to view into the kitchen a little. I recommend everyone should wear head nets. (None of them were wearing them.) The food smelled good, it look good, the taste was ok. It's hard when you have been to a different place and have high expectations. Prices... I feel for the amount it's overpriced. I understand times have changed, inflation etc... but it was over priced. Family combos need to change how they give their "drinks" and the French fries the large in a bag... looked more like a small. (OVER PRICED) While we were there, we saw a spill since we arrived and sadly... we left and the spill was still there. No one came to clean it nor to put a yellow caution sign. Honestly, that was our 1st and last time we visit that establishment. Hopefully if things change we might give it an other try. Restaurants/Establishments should learn that it's not only about "selling" and "making money" there is more to being an owner and an employee. Overall, I give it a 2 1/2..

I didn't expect much when I walked in because I've been so disappointed by other places lately but to my surprise everything tasted really good and the service was friendly and quick. We ordered white rice with beans, rotisserie chicken and sweet plantains as well as the fried pork, arroz con gandules and yucca. We enjoyed everything we tried and will be back again.

So wanted to update my review. Seems they've made a few personnel changes and now everyone is very nice and the food is always delicious. Not fancy, not expensive: just really good PR food.

Was looking for something unusual for lunch so I thought I'd pop in to this Latin eatery. They understood English but they didn't speak it much. It seems they specialize in half chickens, whole chickens, and large family meals. I ordered six chicken tenders, cost of $11.81. They were disappointing. For that price I expected something spectacular. The tenders were small, uniform ones size, and something you could buy frozen for a lot less money. Was working so I did not get a picture. I won't be back.

Holy Heaven on earth. If you're looking for fast casual delicious Puerto Rican food, allow me to propose Martins BBQ. Don't get BBQ confused with a sauce... This is rotisserie chicken, baked pork and more at its quick service finest. It's a cafeteria style order process. So, if you're not familiar with the food you can see what's on the steam table or go big and order from the overhead menu monitors. The mofongo is why I drive way out of my way to come here. These folks know how to do it. For $10 or so you can get rotisserie chicken with a big serving of mofongo and a drink. The menu offers family size combo meals. Spanish is not required to order, but it does help. Buen Provecho!I'll be back soon

Bistec was amazing, unfortunately our white rice was burnt so it really killed the meal for me. Beans were also good!

The service is subpar, but the food is passable. Nonetheless, Tampa Bay offers a wealth of Latin dining options with more substantial portions and appetizing cuisine. Management maintains close oversight of staff to manage food servings, which can be perceived as intimidating. Therefore, I do not recommend this restaurant and will not patronize.
