Excellent selection of very fresh fruits and veggies.I was pumping gas next door at 7-Eleven when I noticed Maria's from across the parking lot. I was in need of some veggies and other items, so I figured I'd check and see what they had. I saw that they advertise some sandwiches, including a Cuban, so I also figured it couldn't hurt to ask if they'd sell me a loaf.Upon walking in, I was greeted by a nice selection of vine-ripe tomatoes and green peppers, both of which were on my list. I grabbed some and took a walk around the shop. The place is small, but has everything one might need, including a large selection of European canned and jarred items, most of which I am unfamiliar with. They all looked amazing though.I asked the guy if he'd sell me some Cuban bread. At first he said no, but reconsidered when I told him I only needed a loaf. He charged me $3.50 for it, but I would have spend more driving to Tampa. I'm not sure where he gets his Cuban bread from, but it wasn't 100% authentic. It was very close though. In fact, it was the best stuff I've ever seen that didn't come from one of the big 3 bakers in Tampa. Either way, really good bread if you're even in a pinch and do not want to drive to Tampa.

You've got to get a Cuban sandwich at Maria's. It's the greatest, no joke. Maria's is a Greek Deli and produce market that makes one of the best Cubans around. I also tried their moussaka which was so delicious as well. Maria's also has baklava and other Greek pastries as well. This place is a hidden gem. Great Job Guys.

Excellent authentic Greek food! Stuffed grape leaves(out of this world!), stuffed cabbage, and tzatziki was so good! ! I usually don't like domatas(grape leaves) but I LOVE these!! I wish I knew their secret. The owners are Greek, very kind and accommodating. All produce was fresh and vibrant. We will be back especially to try the rest of their prepared food and desserts.

I bought peppers..one had a worm in it. I went back within 15 minutes assuming I could get a new one to replace it...the man who was there ( assuming Maria's husband) was not very nice about it. He said he didn't charge me for the worm (he was serious) and that he sells his stuff less than the big stores and if I didn't like it, go to Publix next time...I said " so because you sell your produce less than the supermarkets, I should be OK with worms in the produce? and he just said "go to Publix next time." Any good businessman would have apologized and said get another one but he obviously doesn't mind losing a customer...I had to buy another one only because I really needed a pepper at that time and no time to go to Publix..but...from now on I will go elsewhere.
