Marek's Kielbasa & Pierogi Food Truck

I was so excited that this place was the designated food truck at a local brewery one night when I was in the area. Even better, they were up and running at 5 pm when I arrived. The Owner was very friendly, and I ended up getting the Polish Sampler for $14, which included one polish sausage, 4 pierogis, hunter stew (bigos) and bread. It was ready in a matter of minutes - I guess because everything was cooked and ready, and all he had to do is plate it in Styrofoam container.Of everything, the sausage was my favorite - I absolutely loved the flavor. I also really liked the stew - I had never had it before, and it appeared to be sauerkraut cooked with mushrooms and small pieces of meat. I liked, but did not love, the pieorgis - they just didn't have as much flavor as ones I've had recently.All in all a delicious meal, and clearly I will have to hunt him down on social media so I can eat his food again.

It is 3.5 stars in my book. Since there is no half stars, I have given 4 stars. The reason there are 3.5 stars is the amount of food do not measure up to the price they charge. I think they are at the expensive side. Food is ok. I check out this food truck because of the recommendation of a friend. They can be track at their face book page. The day we saw them were at the Brew Hub at Lakeland. We got the polish sampler. It has the Kielbasa - polish sausage, 4 meat pierogi, and Bigos - hunter stew. I like the hunter stew over the kielbasa. The pierogi topping can be better. It was perfect food at brewery with beer to wash down. Overall is good but not memorable enough.

Was very excited to see Marek's come to the apt. Complex where I reside as I am a huge fan of polish food. The kielbasa was very good.

Grabbed some food (it smelled amazing!) while at In The Loop Brewing.Well. This is just plain DELICIOUS. I got 8 potato cheese pierogis, Hubs got the sampler platter. My pierogis were totally stuffed with a very flavorful but not over spiced filling. They were large and 8 was a perfect amount.Hubs liked the sausage and his meat pierogis. He wasn't crazy about the stew that came in the sampler. I liked it but a taste or two was enough.Highly recommend this food truck if you like pierogis and/or kielbasa, this guy does a great job!

I simply cannot understand the low rating this Food Truck has at this writing. Everything on their menu is delicious - AMAZING even. Very authentic Polish food! We tried their food this weekend (a little of everything), and I honestly don't know what was best. Their pierogi are the best I have had anywhere in this area and the Hunter's Stew, is indescribably awesome! I can't wait to have some more of his food, very soon!! His is the best food truck in Tampa Bay, in my estimation and if you look at my reviews, you'll see I love Polish and German food, so I am pretty picky. Having lived in Germany and having had (ex) in-laws that were full-blooded German and Polish (one of each), I figure I know what is good and what isn't, and this was GOOD. I can't wait to have some meals catered! As for the prices, compared to most food trucks in this area, his are VERY reasonable, and even if you consider it priced on the high side, it is TOTALLY worth it. I'd have sure paid more!As for the reviewer who mentioned "frozen: - I am wondering if you know what kind of work goes into making pierogi? I do. And it is EXTREMELY time-consuming. When we make them at home, because of this, most of ours get frozen. As they do in most Polish restaurants, for the same reason!! And they are every bit as good. Know what you're talking about before making an inane remark like that.

Absolutely. Amazing. I have followed this truck to multiple breweries in the area, and finally had the opportunity to have him at the brewery I work for, Southern Brewing. Authentic, and delicious Polish food, and Marek is so sweet and professional. I can't wait to have him back! If I could rate more than five stars, I would!

Had the pleasure of trying Mareks at Grand Central Brewhouse tonight. I'm embarrassed to say, my husband and I both ordered enough to feed an army and forgot to share. It was so good we forgot to post pics also.. but don't worry. Nothing would do this cuisine justice. I can't wait until we meet again!

WOW. We have Food Truck Wednesdays at work here in Tampa and holy crap. This was spectacular. The perogis just melted in my mouth. The stew was phenomenal. I could only manage a couple bites of the sausage in fear over overeating in the middle of the day and sleeping under my desk. I ordered the sampler platter. Highly, HIGHLY recommend. I did not know I liked Polish food. But I'm obsessed now. I kind of want to find a Polish husband who has a Polish grandma to teach me the ways of the old country. Seriously, whoa.

Absolutely the best kielbasa and Pierogi I've had in 50 years since leaving Buffalo, NY which has a huge Polish community. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Had the sampler at Crooked Thumb Brewery and could not stop thinking about it even 2 weeks later. I am dying for more. It's amazing. Don't argue with me.
