This place is unreal! I absolutely love the Squealing Goat--it's a must-try. Ordering is super easy--you just walk up, place your order, and that's it! The food is so good, and I will definitely be coming back.Just a heads-up--get here early on the weekends because there's a good chance you'll have to wait. But trust me, it's worth it!

FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC! I cannot rave enough about the food, honestly: the biscuits are literally perfect, though sliced too near the top for equal treatment, but really perfect, not too dry, not too moist, not too buttery, not too plain, just perfect. Hash browns are fried crispy but no extra grease. Even my eggs were tastier than most places and, again, no grease. And the many coffee choices for $3.25 endless coffee were all good (yeah, I had too many cups, but hey, "endless").Service wise it's basically order and seat yourself and wait for your name to be called, easy going, no muss, no fuss, and they buss the mess.Ambiance is like a clean, bright but friendly place; we sat at the giant round communal table and others joined, no problem. Regular tables abound, and some sidewalk patio seating was available, too.Prices were honestly fine, as expected.

Tried the famous squawking goat and it was 5/5 I was nervous about the pepper jelly but combined with fried chicken and goat cheese was absolutely delicious. After taking your order they ask a question instead of name for the order. Unique experience! We were asked fav rapper. Shanti (forgive the spelling) was full of energy and brought the perfect Sunday vibes to start our day. Every establishment needs a person like her, she made our day.

Maybe my expectations were just too high. As a resident of a Mid-Atlantic city, I was hoping for some of those delicious light fluffy buttery biscuits that you can only get in the South. Well, the biscuits were pretty good, and the gravy was fantastic. I also had eggs and bacon, which were a bit underwhelming. The eggs were undercooked for what I ordered. The bacon was kind of limp and flavorless. But, I also saw and smelled the waffles, which looked and smelled great. I will return and give those waffles a try!

Who doesn't love a homemade breakfast sandwich?!?! A definite step-up from the McD's version. I've come here twice for pickup to grab breakfast Sammies and they are quite good!! and nothing goes better with one than some fresh-squeezed orange juice, mmmmmm..... super cute little local place, with great service and great food! highly recommend giving it a try. the only other thing I tried was their little potato things (smashbrowns) but I was not overly impressed with these. But this is a very personal thing and I can be picky, so others my adore them! They fit a great little niche: more upscale, yet fast, breakfast food. I'll be back!

We were at the Floridian Theater for a Navy Chief Pinning Ceremony, which included our eldest grandson. Great process and we were very proud grandparents. To get there early for good seats, we skipped breakfast, so after the ceremony, we discovered the Maple Street Biscuit Company next door. Very convenient so we tried it.It's basically a self serve eatery where you order your meals then find a seat, fill your drinks, get napkins and silverware and wait for your "ID" to be called. Cashier asked for favorite country we had visited, so we chose Greece. Took a bit longer than expected for food to come but "Greece" was finally called and I retrieved our plates. My wife stayed on her Keto diet (well except for a couple Fried Green Tomato slices) and ordered the Keto Bowl. This came with Eggs, bacon, avocado, tomato, mushrooms, goat cheese, spinach and maple-balsamic drizzle. She really loved it. I decided on the Five & Dime Biscuit with country fried steak, bacon, cheddar, egg and sausage gravy. It was very good but a few issues. Biscuit, and I grew up with Southern biscuits, was a bit crunchy and not soft and pillowy. Country fried steak was a bit tough and had several tough tendons, not prepped well. Bacon was great and sausage gravy was great, just needed some Tabasco.I also ordered a side of Fried Green Tomatoes. They were the thickest slices we had ever had, maybe 1/2 inch. My wife liked that you could really taste the tomato. But my issue was that when you cut it or bit it, the batter tended to fall off. Maybe no corn starch before battering. It was a pleasurable meal in a communal table setting. But at $41 for breakfast, a bit on the expensive side.

We had a great breakfast experience. It's casual style with a friendly staff -- you order at the counter and food is brought out to you. I would not order a potato bowl again but I definitely recommend the homemade biscuits and the smash browns, which were both great! The espresso machine was down so we walked across the street for coffee while we waited for our food which was no issue.

I don't understand the hype around this place. The one redeeming star is that the coffee is tasty, the gravy is really good and the staff is friendly enough. I'm not sure why all of the reviews are talking about "phenomenal service" as it's a counter service type of place. You walk up to order, the coffee and all drinks are self serve. We paid $50 for 2 lattes and 2 entrees, just wait 35 minutes for potatoes that died under a heat lamp an hour ago. I'm not sure how you can manage to overcook yet undercook eggs at the same time. The place was empty yet everyone there seemed to be waiting for a while. This was my third time here and each time it was worse than the last. Save your time and money and go to a local spot.
