So good!! Love this spot, great food and great atmosphere. Had a bit inattentive service at the bar one time, but seems like that was an isolated incident for me. Overall have had great experiences and have enjoyed every single thing I've ordered there.The chicken bowl is pictured but I also recommend the sushi! Always eat it too fast before I can snap a pic

I've been going to Mangosteen for years and each time I visit I can always count on getting good service and delicious food! Mangosteen is the perfect balance of trendy and casual with a beautiful ambiance perfect for any occasion, whether it be a birthday, date, or casual lunch it's always the move. Some of my favorites from the menu are the Bang Bang Shrimp, The Mangosteen Roll, and the Happy Ending cocktail.

Mangosteen is always consistent with food! They are often times busy, the restaurant itself is super cute and trendy with outdoor seating etc. last night we came here for a sushi roll and a couple dishes . Food was average , maybe a little overpriced for what it is. We sat at the bar and I do feel the service lacked a bit .

This place has the best sushi deal! One roll (from the options provided), miso soup, nigiri, & sashimi for $20. Great portions, quality, and delicious food! I'll definitely be back.

4/5: have walked past Mangosteen many times over the years and decided to give it a try! Sat outside where there is about 6 or so tables. Waitress was very friendly and food came out quickly. My sushi roll was very good, no complaints! My boyfriend got the Mangosteen noodles which he wasn't a huge fan of. He said the dish was pretty bland but was pleased with how large the portion size was. I believe the noodles were around $17 and sushi roll was $10-$12. Good meal overall!

Trivia: Whats the name of the tropical evergreen tree with edible fruit and seeds a similar size and shape to almonds? (Did you see this coming?)If you're in the mood for Asian fusion, this should be at the top of your list in St Pete. But, first, I have one critique. Im sure this is a grumpy man critique: The bibimbap is NOT in a clay pot. So the rice doesn't get that extra layer of crispiness. Which is okay because the service, ambiance, and flavor, IS ON POINT.As is often the case with stellar menus, I couldn't decide on just one thing. So I started with a snapper roll of sushi. Fresh, flavor popping, no need to wasabi it up. (But seriously, who passes up the delightful green mush?!)I moved on to the bibimbap. It had plenty of gochujang in the mix and plenty of tasty veggies along with the marinated steak. Delicious. Perfectly plated egg at my favorite level cooked (just a slow ooze of yolk) .I also had a glass of wine. Simple wine list but a nicely balanced wine. The website was carefully laid out with excellent pictures and their origin story. Check it out!**I'm finishing this review about three months after I visited. One week after Milton. Hoping this business is doing well.

Amazing food and the ambience was impeccable great staff also the egg rolls were delicious

Stopped in to Mangosteen's for a quick and light dinner at the bar. Place was busy and lively. Staff were friendly and made a great dirty martini! We enjoyed the fish tacos, some sushi and pork pot stickers. Always a winner!

Love Mangosteens! Beautiful restaurant, great service and consistently great food at reasonable prices. Never had a bad meal, love the sushi, drunken noodles, tacos bowls and entrees.

5 stars all around for Mangosteen.Both times I have been here have been on a Saturday night. Once was for a party of 3 and we did not have a reservation, but were seated right away. THey have plenty of indoor seating, and outdoor as well but I have never sat outside.I went here for a friends birthday recently and they brought out a birthday dessert for him without anyone even asking, so sweet!! Their service is always amazing, quick, and attentive.The Volcano roll is some of the best sushi I have ever had (pictured). The drinks are also yummy, and pretty strong I'll add!!
