Restaurant is beautiful inside. Casey was my server/bartender and she was fantastic! I had the sausage and peppers and a chopped salad. Food was fabulous. I will definitely go back every time I'm in this area.

I can't wait for this place to go out of business. It is certainly inevitable within 2 years. I'd take the under. Maybe a decent restaurant concept such as Bonefish Grill could replace it. The Big Bend Corridor has the worst dining options for the tremendously growing population. Sprouts is fantastic and deserves a quality restaurant in their center. I reluctantly tried this place last month out of desperation. I had very low expectations and rightfully so. I ordered the chicken parm on DoorDash for pickup and it was the most salty "Italian" dish I've ever had. I had a family member try and they concurred. Completely inedible and it went straight into the trash. It was clearly premade perhaps on an assembly line. They likely defrost and heat. First time I attempted to contact the 3rd party because the food quality was unacceptable. Fortunately for me I was able to just cancel the order because the restaurant staff must have not confirmed thru DoorDash. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place at all cost if you have any taste in food.

Chicken parm was good and the chicken pesto panini was a really good lunch and different Italian dish. The best part I think was the very nice bus boy!!! He was so awesome and made conversation, hope the tip goes to him. And they had really good looking ice cream and dessert but we were full so we will try next time

Pros: the ambience & the service Cons; the changes in the new menu just kills it for us.. chicken piccata with a side of pasta w/red sauce? What? Why? Why would any chef thinks this is a good combination? Now you have to request no sauce or pay an extra $2.5 to get alfredo.. again why not the sauce on the chicken piccata not on the pasta like before?? Then the salmon dish.. perfectly great before, now it has this minty tomato ( bruschetta like but instead of basil- mint??? ) Im so confused by these changes...why change something completely perfect to whatever this new creation is?? Change it back!!!!

Mandola's presents an intriguing take on Italian dining with its unique style. The process involves ordering from the front and then securing your own table. The restaurant, bustling and packed, operates efficiently once you've found your spot - staff promptly bring your food to the table. However, it's worth noting that the culinary experience leans more towards an Americanized version of Italian cuisine. The dishes are notably hearty and filling. On the downside, I encountered some issues with cleanliness, needing to request new cups and silverware. While the food wasn't terrible, it didn't leave a lasting impression, and I personally wouldn't choose to return.

Went there last night first time, service was good but food not so good.My chicken parmesan was dry and my fiance had spaghetti and meatballs and its very pricey there. When we got home he had food poisoning all night from the meatballs (guess the eat was out too long). So we won't be going back.

I liked the restaurant decor and the bakery. I bought 2 chocolate espressoCookies that were very good. My friend bought a piece of coconut cake and she said it was a little dry. When you arrive you find a table and then go up to the counter to order and pay for your food. They have a large menu featuring pasta, flat breads, paninis and a lot more. I was with a group of 5 and I think we all were in agreement that the food was only so/so. One person had to send their food back because it was way too salty. Personally I thought my panini had way too much sun dried tomato on it which gave it a somewhat bitter taste. The Cesar salad was just ok. It could be that we just chose the wrong items on the menu.

Food was outstanding, the restaurant is clean and friendly. It's a bit different ordering at the counter and they bring the food to you. We'll definitely be returning.

1000% recommend this great place. The inside feel is not at all what the brick exterior reads. Walk in and it's bright and colorful with fun music and wonderful food. My husband is from Italy and we had the best time here. Christian, Managing partner greeted us at the door and chatted with us while we waited for our meal. He is friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the history of this gem . His personality is another reason we would go back. This is absolutely my new favorite place to go !! Can't wait to go back.
