Makkah Mart and Pastries

Just leaving a small note about my most recent visit! Still an amazing establishment with yummy pastries and baked goods!! The space is clean and the staff are always friendly :)

Stopped by here for some kunafe and oh my gosh. It was sooo good. It reminded me of my moms kunafe. They had the option for knafe na3meh and knafe kishneh, dealers choice. Just make sure they heat it properly so the cheese is melted and stretchy. If I was in the area again I would most definitely stop by and recommend it to everyone I know.

The most delicious bakery items from sweets, to bread, and fantastic service! It's a market and a bakery by the way. I highly recommend trying the Warbat, which is a crispy triangle filo dough stuffed with a cream cheese like filling and coated in a sweet syrup. Up front by the register you'll find delicious manakeesh cheese pies, spinach pies, and potato as well. You can also call and place larger orders. This market/bakery has so much to offer and love to come to the area just to shop here!

Drove 2 hours for this, and it was worth every minute! Everything I got was sooooo good I wish I had gotten one of everything. It was so fresh and delicious I regret not ordering all the desserts I saw. Price wise, it was amazing also! I am from NJ and have paid TRIPLE what I paid here. I was shocked at the price considering how yummy everything was. Would definitely make the 2 hr drive again.

I was at a light n i love looking around while i wait. Saw a gentleman walk out if it, giving me the notion it was open. Hard to see with the sun in my eyes. When my body reached its limit, i told myself i would check the bakery out! Nice little hidden gem in Temple Terrace! It literally has two isles. Right side with spices, cans n boxes of food to. The back is a fridge filled with all types of cheese, yogurt n milk products. I was between a cheddar looking wheel n a white one. I asked the gentleman preparing the huge boxes of Baclava candies. He said $16.99!! O_o a whole wheel! I went with white. Gentleman helped me with the pastries to. I told him i needed like small box. Offered bigger lol so let him serve me until i said stop. He was so generous n cut a piece of one type he recommended. It like flute type, very well made n not to sweet. You could taste the pistachio n honey in your soul. They make them fresh there n i can tell they sell all of it! He was making a huge wall of the gift pallets. He said it was $15.00 the Lb. I took a few n it was $9.00 for me. My whole sale was nice a blink under $30. I also picked one of the tasty looking breads by the counter. Still warm from baking. Went with spinach one. Will update on both cheese n bread after i try em. I am crashing bad right now. Body is cramping hard. I highly recommend this bakery n mart. It may be small one but it sure packs a lot of quality n best? Staff was very welcoming n kind to me. Next tome i am around with try the potato, oregano breads n the other milk products. Delish kunafa and dessert assortments. Also, includes middle eastern groceries! Nice family owned shop in temple terrace! If you want a full tray, you can find it there or just order in advance!

The BEST baklava and pastries EVER!!!I come here all the time for the pastries. It's by far the best.

Lovely Gentleman and best Baklava in the city. Wonderful. Yum Yum Yum. There are all kinds of Baklava and other pastries I will have to try some day.
