Probably one of the best places to get a hot served breakfast. The service is usually quick once you've been seated. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The pricing is fair. Not a gourmet restaurant, but most definitely a place I'd recommend for a good hearty meal.

Never disappointed here! Prices are better than most. Service is super friendly and fast. Most times food comes out so quick. Portions are healthy (except scrambled eggs - order them fried). Been here for breakfast many, many times! Food is always good, keeps me coming in lol. Main dining room can be loud, lots a people talking. Try to get a high top table for something quieter.

I love trying a new place for breakfast and this place was wonderful! Atmosphere- As you walk in, a beautiful dining room to the left and counter service to the right. Table service and you pay a cashier on your way out. Note, CASH ONLY! You have been warned. Social distancing not a problem. Breakfast and lunch only.Service- I was there for breakfast. My server was perfect! My coffee was always full. She was slightly humorous and very attentive and had a nice smile. I felt she genuinely aimed to please!Food- A standard American breakfast menu with no surprises. You will recognize everything. My go to standard when trying a new breakfast place is a Ham & Cheese Omelet. This one goes for $8.50. I chose potatoes over grits and was asked if I wanted them fried, shredded, or cooked on the grill with onions. I went with fried along with an English Muffin.Man, oh man this was a great breakfast. Check out my pic. The potatoes were piping hot and not greasy. The portion was enormous. The cheddar in the omelet was great and there was a nice portion of ham. Along with the coffee it was a $10 breakfast and worth every penny. I'm going to be dreaming about those potatoes for a while.If you are in teeny tiny Lake Placid, what a great way so start off your tour of the many amazing murals!

While visiting Lake Placid we stopped for breakfast. The waitress was very helpful in telling us what the favorites were. We ordered the 3 egg omelette meat lovers and the Redneck Benedict. Both platters have plenty of food. Our food came to the table in a timely manner and it tasted great! On the day we visited it was cash only so not sure if this is all the time but just a heads up in advance. This place is worth a visit. Pricing was very fair for the amount of food you get. Definitely worth a visit!

I was introduced to this great hometown restaurant in Lake Placid Florida when visiting a friend on New Years Day. Most places in town were closed (there may have been two other breakfast spots in this sleepy town) . I think we hit the jackpot with this eatery. From the parking to the waitstaff to the atmosphere and most important.. the foood..it was all delicious. My huge breakfast of two sausage, egg and cheese biscuits came with sausage gravy and choice of potatoes... i chose the hash browns. The biscuits were perfectly home made and the sausage gravy was the best I've had anywhere. I love biscuits and gravy so i usually try a small order wherever they are served. I was advised by our server to order the breakfast plate as it actually cost less than buying it separately with one biscuit . My entire meal was $7.99. The coffee was good too! My friend enjoyed the daily special- steak and eggs. It was a great piece of meat and the price $8.99. I will definitely go back for breakfast when I'm visiting in town.

Always a breakfast winner. Another party of five all with different orders and all very pleased. Eggs cooked exactly to order, great specials, exemplary service, and a comfortable atmosphere make it my go to again in Lake Placid for breakfast. They only take cash but prices are very reasonable. Usually a wait but it moves very quickly. Wish we had more establishments in town with the same chemistry. #LPStevenreviews #stevensleavin

The food was delicious! The service was great! And the people In the restaurant gave a mood of safety and satisfaction. Just a great place to eat with family and friends.

I ordered the Fish Reuben sandwich. The menu says it comes with Sauerkraut and Thousand Island Dressing. I did not get that. I said something to the waitress. She said they were out of Sauerkraut and Thousand Island Dressing. Why didn't she tell me that when I ordered it? I picked this restaurant because it had the Fish Reuben sandwich on the menu. In the several decades that I h a ve been dining at restaurants I can only remember a couple of times they were out of what we ordered. One time the server told us immediately after we ordered. The other time a few minutes after we ordered the server came back from the kitchen and told us they were out of it. Never have we ever received something other than what we ordered. The server brought some small piece of cake that did not look that good. I declined it. It did not take the place if not getting what I ordered.

Cash only, noisy, uncontrolled brats running around restaurant, place in a rush to get you to leave. 3 times here now, cooking ain't to good.

I cannnot recommend this restaurant. They do not accept credit or debit cards. I had no choice but to walk across the street to an ATM and it cost me $5.50 in fees just to get cash. This is 2023 - what restaurant doesn't except credit or debit cards?! The owners are apparently too cheap to pay the processing fees. I will never go back there.
