Mac’s Custom Meats + Deli

For those that care...Since the closing of Silver Ring in WC, it has been impossible to find a real Cuban sandwich north of Hillsborough County. Far too many places serve a Miami (no salami), use pulled pork (rather than sliced), or simply get the ingredient ratios all wrong.I have intended to try Mac's Custom Meats, 26316 Wesley Chaple Blvd (near the airport), for what seems like several years. I finally did.I am thrilled to say, Wesley Chapel now has a proper Cuban Sandwich!

We try to go here once a week as the meats are super fresh and amazing and their sandwiches are delicious. Highly recommend their filets and pork chops and the Cuban sandwich as well as the Rueben. It is a bit higher in price than grocery stores but the quality cannot be compared.

Family owned and operated. Great service. I had the Ruben and my wife had a burger. Both sandwiches were delicious. Found my new go to spot when I need that Ruben fix.

Without many deli's or meat counters around, I've not been to many. However, I've been impressed with the quality of both. On the meat counter side, we got some steaks a while ago and I cooked them sous vide then seared them in cast iron. Some of the most tender steaks I've ever had. Much higher quality than most steak restaurants I've been to. On the deli side, I'm obsessed with the egg salad. It will always be my side, though it's always extra and doesn't come with the combo. I've had the steak sandwich twice now and I don't think I need anything else on the menu. I get the smaller sandwich and I'm always just full enough by the end. Great staff, easy to talk to, and glad to have this so close to the house.

We've been to Mac's twice now for lunch and their sandwiches are just SO good. The price point is excellent. Everyone that works here is super friendly and helpful. It's a casual deli spot with a very fresh selection of meats and sandwiches. They are very quick with the sandwiches and 5 minutes from home, easily a quick lunch spot for me since I work from home. We love this place!

Stopped by Mac's for the 1st time today and it did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I got the Mac Daddy Cuban which was really good and hit the spot. If you're in the Wesley Chapel area, I would highly recommend giving this place a try. I will definitely be back.

I drove past a couple weeks ago and googled them because I thought Wesley Chapel finally got a butcher shop and was quite surprised to find out that they're a little bit of that and so much more! When I saw they had pressed Cubans my son and I had to check them out. We were not disappointed! You can get your traditional Cuban, which I had, to all sorts of other types, turkey, roast beef, ham and something called a big mac. As a nice little touch you can get your sandwich pressed with a honey or garlic topping. We tried both and both were excellent! Staff was super friendly and answered any and all questions we had and quite honestly the price was quite reasonable for lunch! Will definitely be bringing my husband there!!

Finally a great meat market in Wesley Chapel. They get their meat in the Northern states where they hang the meat longer so it's very tender. Had the best filets that i've had sonce i moved to Florida, everyone needs to try them, can't wait to try a burger from them and grill it.

I've been meaning to try this place for a while now and finally went by and it's great. Run by a couple of brothers who make phenomenal sandwiches and more. It was probably the best steak sandwich I've ever had as it was made fresh and was piping hot. I also bought the beef jerky and was impressed with that as well. I am looking forward to going back and trying different sandwiches but I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quality sandwich at a reasonable price.
