based on all the reviews this place was top of my list when I visited the area.I knew I had to try the lumpia - like a spring roll & the sauce was 10/10I went with the adobo chicken bowl and the flavors were amazing! Loved the balance of the refreshing cucumber salad.

First time visiting and I have to come back!I tried their spicy vegan dumplings, lemongrass BBQ chicken skewers and lucky fries (not pictured). I LOVE the skewers and really did enjoy the dumplings. The lucky fries is not for everyone honestly (if you're not a fan of sour it may mot be for you) but personally I liked the taste. The service was great as well! You may be a little skeptical when you pull up to the place but don't be alarmed at all. They have an outdoor sitting area.

This is my favorite place to get take out in Tampa!I usually get the Fried Chicken Adobo Rice Plate and the Buko Pandan Mylk Tea. The chicken is amazing it is crisp on the outside with a sticky sauce but so juicy and tender on the inside. Everything in the rice plate is packed with flavor I would eat it everyday if I could! The Buko Pandan Mylk Tea is so refreshing and light I love to pair it together with the chicken. I've tried a couple other foods of the menu and have loved everything I rarely switch it up just because I love my current order so much! Not only is the food amaaaazzinnggg, the Lucky Tigre team members are all so sweet. I love saying hi to them when I pick up my food and hearing any recommendations they have to try.If you want to try a new place and support a local business I highly recommend trying Lucky Tigre!!

Was on the hunt for Halo-Halo and discovered that Lucky Tigre moved locations to West Tampa from SoHo. It's currently located in a super cute food truck with an outdoor seating area complete with picnic tables and a restroom. The ordering experience was super easy and service was pretty quick. I came midday on a Sunday and it seemed to be moderately busy. Everyone there was really enjoying their food and drinks. The smells coming from the kitchen were absolutely amazing and I spotted an open flame grill which I believe is used for the skewers. Drink: My first time trying Halo-Halo and I was not disappointed! There were so many different inclusions and surprises in this shaved ice, milkey sweet drink. The homemade Ube ice cream was delicious and I loved the taste of the coconut milk. The coconut and langka (sweet jackfruit) added a freshness. The kaong (candied palm fruit) had an interesting chew to them and left me wanting more. Things to note are I don't believe my drink included the strawberry and mango fruit jellies. The sweet red beans (which I love!) had some textural differences like some were soft while others were on the firmer side. Totally recommend the Vegan Halo-Halo for an interesting and fun treat.I would 100% come back to try some of the limited time cold brews and syrup flavors! The lemongrass skewers are also calling my name.

New location with a food truck and outdoor seating area, but still the same delicious food! The owners are super nice, which makes the experience even better. I'm a huge fan of their beef lumpia--always my go-to recommendation. Today, I tried the pork and shrimp siomai, and it did not disappoint! The chili-oil with soy sauce and black vinegar combo is a total winner. Will definitely be back!

Lucky Tigre introduced me to Filipino food. My life has forever been changed! The strawberry mylk tea and salted ube caramel mylk tea are my favorite. They have a lot plant based options for anyone that is vegan/vegetarian. The pancit and lechon kawali are out of this world. Everything is so flavorful and made fresh to order. The owners are so nice! You can tell they are passionate about the food they make. I will always come back here!

Though there's not much around in the area, Lucky Tigre is a food spot you don't want to miss. The staff was super nice and it didn't take long to get our food. I didn't mind the outdoor seating either. Food was amazing! The lechon kawali was so good, so soft and flavorful on the inside but still crunchy on the outside. We also ordered the Tocino dumplings, halo halo and Ube cold brew. All were worth it. I normally am biased when it comes to Filipino fusion cuisine, but this place hit the spot. So worth the price!!

Checked out the new spot and tried some menu items I haven't tried before! Everything was delicious, but a few items were very salty. Pancit was salty, some of the noodles were undercooked, and the lechon cuts I got were 90% fat. Ube milk tea was delicious, but the boba pearls were pretty tough and chewy. What has always stood out is their dumplings. Definitely one of their strengths! Their new space is nice and will be really dope when it gets colder!

Enjoyed this food truck off of Howard ave serving up authentic Philippine food with an eye toward vegan tastes as well. Love their drink selection:favorite is the ube milk and if you want a little less sweet they can adjust. Also enjoyed the mango milk as well which was just naturally sweet with the mango purée. We had the 5 spice barbecue mushroom plate which came with jasmine rice (similar flavor to their previous mushroom bao buns). Had the lemongrass skewers and surprise like was the fried with the tamarind seasoning. I don't usually care much about fries but these were delicious and had a unique flavor profile. Overall a great experience-will be returning to try some more! Food and drinks were made to order on the spot which I really appreciated. Service was friendly. Benches outside were a great way to enjoy the weather instead of sitting in a restaurant.

This review is a long time coming. I want to first off say that I really love how centrally located (for me haha!) their new location is. It's in a historic part of tampa that I feel has always had such deep roots and beautiful buildings. The food truck and overall outdoor area has great ambience and such a fun feel. The food is what keeps me coming back. I've had just about everything on the menu at this point and it's all incredible. My personal favorite is the Long Silog. The rice and fried egg are always perfectly cooked and the garlicky sweet/savory sausages are just something else. I think about this dish often and was getting it like once a week for a while! The mochi chicken is crispy and savory. It's perfect if you are new to Filipino food. Pulled chicken adobo is something I usually get when I'm going to be working a 12 hour shift, I'll get it to-go and eat it the next day and it just makes me look forward to something. It's like a hug. Then there's the dumplings.... which can be a meal in themselves or a side to split with a friend (or to split with your future self, no judgement). My personal favorite is the beef and carrot. It's in a bright citrusy, mildly spicy, tangy sweet and savory sauce that I have eaten with just a spoon once I've finished the dumplings (remember no judgement ok?!). My dad is vegetarian and really loved the coconut ginger dumplings which are made with impossible "pork" as well as their spicy vegan dumplings. the pancit is my partner's go-to order. They are gluten free and it is naturally gluten free! You can add the lemongrass chicken just let them know it's gluten free and they will leave off a glaze that makes it not gf. I've gotten this the last couple times bc it's got veg in it and it's fantastic. My partner loves it and has never gotten sick from it. Apparently you can also do a catering order for gluten free lumpia if you want 100+ lumpia and at some point we will be doing it! But they don't have gf lumpia on menu, which is totally fair bc it's a whole ordeal. Their catering menu is also really well priced and am definitely considering for future parties we have upcoming! TLDR; There's something for everyone, the owners are lovely, the food is bomb.com
