LoveBird - Almost Famous Chicken

I went here for the first time last week. I do not have pictures of the food but it was absolutely delicious. There was a long line as it was just after noon but the service was quick and well done. The people working behind the counter and within the dining area were attentive to customers as they came and went to clean up and maintain a consistently clean area. Seating was available inside and outside. The decor and vibe of the restaurant was modern and unique. Lots of chicken humor and puns which is always appreciated. Would highly recommend you check this place out. Best almost famous chicken around.

Came here on a whim after a day at Busch Gardens. I didn't know what to expect when I first ordered, but as it turns out, I ended up getting likely the best fried chicken I've had in my entire life. Their mac and cheese was shockingly delicious even for me, someone often picky about mac and cheese, and the fries were also amazing. The people working here are very nice, too, and although it was very crowded, it never felt too crowded to enjoy. If you have the chance to go here, you will almost certainly love it. I really want to return in the future even if it's far away from the place my family stays at when we go to Florida, because it's just that amazing.

So I was in town for some training and decide to try these almost famous chicken tenders. Place was easy to find. Parking was a little bit small but matched the inside, if parking was full I would say it would be packed inside. The decor was cute and the service friendly.I ordered 3 tenders. I was happy to hear I could split the tenders in different spice levels so I got two southern and one medium because I wasn't feeling to spicy. Let me just say, the medium is a true medium, do not consider it mild just because that is there first heat level. I am a sucker for sauces so I tried the bird sauce, the dill ranch, and the blue cheese. The blue cheese was good, but just average. The bird sauce came in second. It tasted so familiar but hard to put a finger on it. It was sweet, creamy (definitely mayo based) and garlicky. I'd definitely get it again. The best sauce though for me was the dill ranch! So, so, so delicious. For side of course I tried the mac and cheese and the baked beans. The mac and cheese was really good. I liked how they use ditalini noodles. I think that helps get so much cheesy goodness with every bite. The baked beans were also solid and you can definitely taste the hint if bourbon.All in all solid meal. Two tenders would have definitely been enough, they are large. If you're in the area and want some solid chicken, swing by and give them a try.

Super cool spot. Great vibe and music. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy. They moved the line and food came out in reasonable time. Beat chicken sandwich ever! Had the Bird and Bee and absolutely loved it. Great blend of sweet and heat. Had the Macaroni and cheese as well. Also fantastic. Will be back to try more!

The food is absolutely fabulous fresh and just like grandma made but w more spice. And the price is not bad considering what a meal costs of fast food. The service is great as well and the ambiance is totally worth fighting for a parking space over lol.

My opinion of LoveBird has changed drastically since I wrote my initial review. Yes, in the beginning their service and the experience was pretty rough.But the product is so delicious it's worth it. LoveBird manages to stay super busy because the chicken really is that good, so even all these years later it's a poppin' establishment. I quote enjoy their collard greens and fries as well. The fries are thick and crunchy, and they have a house made ranch that's just fabulous.What I really like about LoveBird though is their branding. The hot pink electric music vibe is so well done and it's fun and unique.I do think the line to order could still be better. They only have one physical register which makes zero sense considering how consistently busy they stay. Recently they have had another person taking orders on a tablet but I still think this is the one thing they've always had issues with that still need improvement.

Cute fried chicken sandwich spot. Friendly staff, small parking lot but quick service, even to go. The tenders are huge and flavorful. The Mac and cheese was creamy and the fries were great. I would definitely go back to try their other options!

This is, I'm pretty sure, my favorite fried chicken ever. And the sides (the mac and cheese especially) only add to the amazingness. Oh! And the sauces! A homemade sauce is automatic bonus points, and a phenomenal housemade sauce, is magical. The staff here is helpful, and friendly. They know their stuff, they are readily available, they are smiling, and they kept the place, both inside and out, very clean despite how busy it was. There was a line out the door, but it moves quickly. I ordered chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and loaded fries. The healthiest meal ever? I'm gonna say no. But one of the most delicious? Absolutely!! I ordered the blue cheese- which was fantastic- but I also got to try their ranch and house sauce thanks to my friends orders and they were also fantastic! Might have to order all 3 for myself next time. The chicken was SO crispy and (i apologize in advance) moist. The mac and cheese was ooey gooey cheesy perfection with bread crumbs and peppers and deliciousness inside. The fries were also good, but not as impressive as the chicken and mac I wish they had a loyalty program. I'd join the club! Thanks for a great meal, LoveBird! Ps. I didn't have a beer or their tea but the beer section was HUGE and unique and I heard multiple people talk about how great the tea was.

This place is goooooood. We find Lakeland to be a great halfway point for our friend group & decided to check this one out for our meetup this month. Initial impressions, the parking lot is tiny and awkward, we got the last available spot on a Sunday am. This restaurant is in a building that looks like it used to be a bank or a gas station maybe. As such the interior space isn't great. It's small, with only a few tables for indoor seating. For two people it's fine but we had three and there's only one option for that inside. So if that's taken, you're out of luck inside. Outside there are more tables but when it's so often sweltering in Florida, that's not always great. It's also very noisy and so having a conversation is a bit tough. I'd highly recommend ordering to go if you can because of these factors. THE FOOD is worth these inconveniences. When we came it was ultra busy so we waited in line maybe 15 minutes or so. I got the three tenders but I should've gotten two because they are MASSIVE. It's a ton of food for a pretty low price. The breading is thick and crunchy and the food is served piping hot. They have tons of sauces to choose from. The ranch says it's dill ranch but the dill flavor isn't strong (which I prefer). The bird sauce is a mayo based sauce and soooo good I went back for more. The fries are great, the jalapeño corn is VERY SPICY (too much so for me, it felt one note), but the gouda mac and cheese has to be my absolute favorite part of this meal. It's SO flavorful, creamy and delicious. Next time I'll get a huge portion of that - I hear there's secret menu items so I'm going to order one of those next time!Pepsi products.

Lovebird was hopping when my family stopped in but it still wasn't too difficult to get a table and food came out pretty quick. My 10y/o got chicken tenders- I almost made him order three but very glad we stuck with two- they were huge! My salad was delicious. My spouse's chicken sandwich was messy, but that was expected based on the description. Will happily go back when I'm in Lakeland again.
