I just love the rice with shrimp . Enough for two people. And the flan! Service is great. Price is reasonable

A new friend of my name, Marie who is Mexican told me to try this place because it's true Mexican food in New Port Richey. When I went to Mexico, my dad wouldn't let me eat the food from the food stand in 1975. He said it might have dog or cat meat. I said come on dad Mexicans don't eat cats and dogs. So we ended up eating in an oasis of a restaurant in California before we almost drove through the desert, but I said heck, no dad not in a rental car what if it breaks down. So we flew to LA. Anyway, back to the restaurant my friend was spot on. This place has so much to offer. They even have vegetarian options. It was truly great Mexican food. I was in the mood for Mexican food. They gave me a huge portion of chips and salsa, I know they throw it out so I said can I take this home and I'll have it as a snack later and they said yes, and gave me a bag for the chips and a little container to put the salsa in. I ordered the Mexican pork chops with peppers and onions and tomatoes. I think there were tomatoes. Anyhow, it came with soft tortillas wrapped in foil, and I took a lot of the onions and peppers and mixed it with the beans and made like a little burrito. Actually, I made a couple of little burritos. It was a huge amount of food but I finished it. Where else could you get something that good for $11.95. Not many places not like McDonald's I doubt it. I had sopapilla for dessert cause I never had that. It was delicious flaky pastry drizzled with honey. Oh my God, I think it was better than flan. I highly recommend this place and I will be back probably the next time I go to my eye doctor because they're really close. Try it I know you'll enjoy it. They have earlybird drinks and a full bar and a couple TVs muy bueno Comida

Service was very good, accommodating for special requests, even brought us warm chips after a while to replace the chips we had for about 15 mins and we didn't even ask, the waiter just brought them and said the others must be cold by now. For an app we had the Chorizo dip which was excellent. I especially like that I was able to make my own combination. I had a chili relleno, a beef taco, a tamale and a cheese enchilada with a side of fresh jalapenos. My wife had a beef burrito. All the food was hot and tasty. Definitely will be back.

A return to our favorite Mexican restaurant was actually prompted by us try a new place on US 19, which we promptly walked out of. So glad we did! Our waitress, Angela, was fantastic, providing fast , attentive, pleasant service! My #6 combo was delicious, an enchilada, beans and rice for less than $10!Tonight (Saturday) was packed with happy customers! Make this a "must check out " on your list in Port Richey!

It's been 2 years since I came here to eat- I promised my friends a great Mexican meal . The food was wonderful as always but the service was awful. I had never seen it so crowded and they were understaffed. Our server was elderly and had trouble remembering to bring us what we asked for-We will go back and hope for a better experience.

Stopped in to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in NPR. Promptly seated and a margarita came quickly. We were able to enjoy the atmosphere then order. One thing is the consistency of good food. Beautiful presentation and cooked to order. A very nice serving for the price. The chicken is tender and juicy. The staff are friendly and welcoming, no hurry. Really enjoyed our meal tonight. Ask for Luis he will make your day!

Amazing prices and food, their queso is delicious. Chicken nachos are a great appetizer or meal as well.

Came in for white girl margaritas and cheese dip after a long week. Tasted like a cheap wine cooler and handi-snacks. Service was pretty slow too. Booooo.

It was a stop on the way home and we spotted this do de have this eating establishment a try. Very good cuisine and waitress was kind. It was a pleasure patronizing.

This is a Public Service Announcement. Although I have eaten here for years, I will never eat here again. The Management Style of the Staff was inexcusable. I watched in horror as a fellow Diner who became ill as soon as he started eating was mistreated publicly as well as the 2 other members of his Party.No one can help becoming sick like that. What was bad is the Floor Manager demanded that the Lady at the Table clean up his mess that was made as he ran for the Men's Room. Her tone was so demeaning and wrong. The poor Woman was embarrassed and put off by this mistreatment. She told the Manager that she didn't mind cleaning it up but she did mind being talked to in such a way. This became an unnecessary scene and disturbed all customers due to the way their Management mishandled the situation.ld her that she didn't mind cleaning up his mess but she did mind being talked to in such a way. She did ask for the supplies to clean it up and she did. The Gentleman that was I'll had gone outside to sit and get some cool air. When the mess was tended to she went to check on him. Now the Manager was insisting they pay the bill in full, threatening Police action if they didn't. She treated them as if this was a scam to get the few bites of a partial meal off the restaurant for free.It really became quite a scene. It could have been handled so differently with a little tact.I felt bad for these folks and I will never eat in this place again. That is not way to treat any customer. What if I or someone in my Party was suddenly I'll? I would never want to endure such mistreatment. They must be having some kind of job burnout? What a ridiculous public scene and I am sure that they lost a few customers there with their indiscreet abuse.
