Los Hernández Market

It's a terrible term- but, this is theEpitome of a great 'Hole in the wall' market. Walk down the aisles of groceries and find the meat (butcher) counter. That's where the quick food to order is dispatched from. I opted for a small steak burrito. It was huge. It was Delicious and Devoured. The burrito came with a mildly spiced generous cup of hot sauce.There are a couple crusty tables under the oak trees at the end of the parking lot, complete with rusty folding chairs. So, you're dining-in options are limited. I sat outside and met some amazing friendly guys enjoying a mid day cerveza under the oaks. I love finding these hidden authentic gems. Viva Mexico (in Clearwater)!

A true hidden GEM The food is really great and 100% authentic Mexican cuisine. Not only do they sell great food you can also find warm home made tortillas here as well as tamales, all kinds of pan dulces, and just about any kind of Mexican snack/candy. The staff is also kind and helpful and you can tell they are doing all they can to keep themselves and their customers safe throughout the pandemic. Would HIGHLY recommend this market and restaurant.

I needed arracherra. Cashier girl says they don't have meat, though I can clearly see the sign on the window saying carnicera. I asked her if she knew of a store around with any. She had no idea of any. I won't be back. I was going to buy 12lbs of it, corn shells, corn and cotija cheese. Their loss.
