I loved the atmosphere, the feel and the friendliness of this spot. Walked in for the first time and Mario immediately welcomed us like we've been going there for years. My daughter and I had Cafe' con leche and pressed, buttered cuban bread.. omg!! It hit the spot. We sat there, drink our coffee, laughed and enjoyed our time. You can tell there were several regulars there... who also made us feel welcome. We'll def be back.

We really wanted to like this place. First, because it's locally owned. And second, because the food was better than average.But here's where the problems started... OUR SERVER DIDN'T TELL US THEY WERE IN THE WEEDS AND BACKED UP. THAT WOULD HAVE REALLY HELPED. And it took a while to figure it out. Maybe about 25 minutes when we saw they were scrambling. Meanwhile, people who came in a half hour after us were getting served, and there we sat with no food. Not even a drink refill.IT LITERALLY TOOK MORE THAN AN HOUR BETWEEN ORDERING AND WHEN WE RECEIVED OUR FOOD. AND THAT WAS AFTER WAITING MORE THAN 10 TO 15 MINUTES TO ORDER! CAN WE SAY PITIFUL?!My cheese steak - very good meat, average bun. I'd probably try it again. Wifey's fish meal. Average. Wouldn't get it again. Tater tots - excellent and crispy.Service - piss poor, crappy communication and they should feel lucky we gave them 15%. 15% in our book means crap job.Will we go back? Maybe. Then again... maybe not. Nobody should have to wait more than an hour to get their food. And you should have given us some consideration for the time.. I'd be a lot more motivated if you gave us some respect for your delays.

Had some time to kill in west Tampa this morning and wanted a non-chain breakfast place. Found it! I was greeted when I walked in the door and waited on immediately. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere. I ordered cafe con leche and a breakfast sandwich - bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese on Cuban toast with tater tots on the side. Delicious and more than I could even eat. I'll be back!

The food and services is amazing. Great atmosphere. No body does regular coffee around here.

I love this restaurant! My favorite meal of the day is Breakfast. So I have always have breakfast at this restaurant. They have the best avocado toast that I have eaten anywhere.
