Well, this place lacks customer service. Felt I wasn't wanted immediately when I walked in. Asked for water and they brought one glass.

I wanted to like this place but it fell short of my expectations (par for the course with dining establishments in this area). Prices were definitely more than what I was expecting. $3+ for a small street taco is a bit ridiculous. The prices in the market were also ridiculously high ($8 for a squeeze bottle of McCormick mayonnaise?!). Service was ok, it took awhile for anyone to acknowledge us. The place itself didn't seem very clean either. We took our order to go but sat at the table while we waited and the table was very sticky (as were the floors). We got a variety of tacos and none of them stood out as anything spectacular. There was very little meat for the price charged as well. Overall, we might go back but only because we don't know of anywhere else that serves legit tacos yet. The search continues!

I had the carnitas and it was very dry and too salty. I was very disappointed. Threw away $21 for a plate I couldn't eat.

I just walked in the restaurant and there was about 8 other customers in there. The lady standing at the window asked if we were picking up but we were placing. She was very rude and said they were closed and closed at 9. The option to order online was available but at that time, I don't want to give my business to them. The door said they closed at 10. As someone who is on vacation, I felt as if that lady just didn't like the way I looked I guess. As someone who works in the food industry, I'm appalled that people still give that type of service.

Fully stocked market and reasonable prices! Pan dulce was good but would have liked a bit more variety.

If you are looking for authentic, look no further. The staff is 90% Spanish speaking and I'm 90% English speaking so we met in the middle. The food is cooked to order and it comes out very fresh and delicious. I always get enchiladas and they are always on point. Oh, ask for the sauces in the plastic bottles. They make them fresh I was told and they are delicious. I deducted a star because the music is sometimes so loud that it's hard to hear the people dining with you.

I order here at least once every other week. I always get the 3 tacos that comes with rice and beans. This is literally the only Mexican restaurant that I could eat just the beans and be satisfied! Idk what they put in those beans but ooooowweeeee!! The tacos are street style which I love and the kicker is that it's only $6.99!!!! I always call ahead so that I don't have to wait. There's a Mexican grocery inside as well. So you can pick up some food and groceries at the same time.

Unfortunately food was not good. We eat Latin/Mexican food weekly and decided to try this place during a trip to Clearwater. Food for 4 was tasteless, soggy and unappealing. The tortillas were falling apart. The carnitas had a terrible aftertaste. We discarded the entire order after few bites. I've never experienced disliking food this much, what a shame

First time ever visiting this store/restaurant. Walked in no one greeted us, so we just sat down. When the waitress finally came to our table, she stepped on my foot, no apology. She sat the menu down on the table and said cinco minutos very quickly several times. She did not speak English, which is fine. But she was so rude. We asked for waters, and I asked if they had margaritas. She said no, no, no English.. and pointed at the menu. So she walked away and came back 5 minutes later. She told us again, no English and to point at the menu. I was so caught off guard with how rude she was I not even sure what I wanted to eat. So I was looking at the menu and went to point at some chicken tacos, she stood there and tapped her pen to her note book.. literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The restaurant was not very clean or even busy, there were maybe 3 people in there eating. Do not go here.. food was bad, service is terrible and you should not waste your time.

Let me clear something up, this is a family owned and run, authentic restaurant. We are white out of towners, but so glad we happened into Los Amigos. The food is LEGIT and delectable. I had the bistec fajitas and, hold on to your chair, they were the best I have ever had! The steak was seasoned deliciously and the peppers and onions were not overcooked. The accompanying tortillas were homemade and the salsa is made fresh daily. The cecina is the house special, and OH BOY, it is especial. Again, you can taste the citrus and seasoning on the thin steak. The enchiladas are chocked full of cojita cheese with rice and beans to the side. They handed samples of homemade flavored waters and we walked out with 32 ounces of some hibiscus water because, well, it was THAT good.Ignore the 1 & 2 star reviews and stop by or even go out of your way to make it over. You will not be disappointed.
