When I found out that they roll their own flour tortillas? I had to dive into the two tacos, rice and choice of beans. I went with the refried...this time. I am impressed of the choices of different items. I.e. Tortillas: corn, flour, or crunchy. Beans: refried or charros. Taco "type" between authentic or Americanized. And and a whole lot of proteins. What I didn't expect, was the tamale they put one the plate. That I did not order. IMPRESSED!! I really enjoyed my meal at Los Amigos. Super awesome service, and I think I talked to the owner about their beans and other foodie kinda stuff, but I will try the frijoles charros next time for sure. Stop by and grab a taco or two. You won't be disappointed and you'll probably return like I will.

Great seevice great authentic Mexican food. I am traveling from Socal and find it hard to get real Mexican food from Texas east, this is top notch Mexican food, would think I was in TJ.

Each time hubby and I have come here the food has always been good. Full of flavor, good portion size and wonderful service. Small and cozy but delivers a big bang with their food. Had the shrimp taco salad. Nice and crispy crust, loaded with large grilled shrimps seasoned to perfection inside and outside the salad. Love this place!

Local treasure! We went to the Manatee Viewing Center for a day trip and wanted a quick lunch. The photos looked good, and the food exceeded expectations, and was generally fantastic the nachos had nice little hits of cilantro, and the charro beans were exceptional. My mom (lives locally) is looking forward to her next visit.

Yummy authentic Mexican. Family run business where they show they care about their food. Soup with hominy is a fave.

Inflation has yet to hit the prices at this spot. I love ordering menudo whenever I see it on the menu at a Mexican restaurant, and this place DOES NOT PLAY ABOUT THAT TRIPE BROTH RATIO Y'ALL. Had me kicking my heels giddy and all.Their chips and salsas are also quite addictive. Came here with coworkers and we polished off two baskets easy.

Step out and try something different. Came to Los Amigos after a long work week and the service really put me at ease!Atmosphere: Quaint and cute with beautiful artwork adorning the walls. Food: They start you off with freshly fried chips, yes please!Guacamole was good, with a nice fresh flavor. The cheeses enchiladas were good, sauce was light and flavorful without spiciness. I wish there a bit more cheese but the flavor was worth it. The veggie burrito was YUM! The vegetables were lightly cooked which resulting in a taster crisp bite. Service: As said above, service was 5 star!Look forwarding to going back!

We found this place by accident and it is now our go-to place for Mexican food in Ruskin. Their red enchilada sauce is out of this world and we haven't found anything on their menu that wasn't super tasty and satisfying. The service is always prompt and friendly. Be aware that they only serve beer and wine so, if you simply have to have that margarita, you should probably try someplace else (on the other hand, their selection of Mexican beer is pretty good).

I ordered through grubhub for pick up. I wasn't too impressed with the food when I got home to eat it. It was just ok. It's not something I would order again.

Today, Oct 27, 2024, I had their menudo for take out. The broth was delicious! Taste of chili permeated all of it and the seasoning was perfect. Tripe was tender, bite sized and tasty! Best menudo I have had around here in a long time!
