Lorna's One Stop Jerk Center Restaurant

The rice and peas didn't have any peas.WTF!!And it.got worse from there. The goat was fatty and greasy. The collards and cabbage were too salty, and they didn't have any plantains.... They somehow even mucked up the rice that didn'thave any peas.

Ok, so this spot is clutch. Best Jerk chicken I have ever had! High quality chicken and the Jerk sauce was phenomenal. The rice and bean are delicious. When it comes to sides I was told to make sure to get the cabbage. Aaand they were right it is so good. What surprised me the most was the corn bread. Best corn bread I have ever eaten. It is like a dessert. I will be going back and trying other items for sure!

This is definitely a weekly lunch stop. The food tastes like I just got it from a spot in Jamaica fresh. This family owned small spot can easily be missed but you will regret not stopping. The family is so friendly and food hits EVERYTIME. My go to is the oxtail but I'm telling you EVERYTHING I have tasted has been delicious. I want to try the full menu because why not?

The food? AmazingThe service? Top notchThe restaurant? Not so muchThis is a Jamaican restaurant and I have to say the food is pretty good and authentic here. That is, if you can ignore how dirty the restaurant actually is. I got the oxtail with mac & cheese and collard greens and rice and peas. The oxtail was fall off the bone tender just the way I like it and the Mac and cheese was just so cheesy, gooey and amazing! I really don't have a problem with the food I thought it was really good. The only issue is, and why I am giving it three stars, is because the place looks like it has not been cleaned in years. I just find that it's a little too gross for me to continue going back there and knowing what the restaurant looks like, I kind of wish I continued to order it from Uber eats(ignorance is bliss and all that). So if you're willing to ignore all of that then I would say give the food a try. You won't be disappointed in that aspect.

I've been eye this place for sometime now. I found it through Uber eats. Every week I consider ordering from here through Uber eats, add it to my cart and everything, but just never submitted the order (we all do it, we think about how we don't want to pay the delivery fee and service fee.) But today, thank you Jesus I did! The food was so good!!!The food had so much flavor. The jerk chicken had a nice little kick to it! And the cornbread, yes yes yes! I saved it for last, it was my dessert. Check this place out if you're ever in Tampa, or if it pops up on your Uber eats!

Hands down this is the best place me and my husband have ever ate at anywhere... The food is so amazing I mean I've had a few dishes already and everything tastes just like home cooking if you like this type of food you're gonna love it. Someone said it's a hole in a wall No it's a DIAMOND in the rough.... I highly recommend for everyone to try this place if that's the type of food that you desire you cannot go wrong...I was so amazed and so was my husband and we will keep going there as long as it's there..And everyone that works there so friendly so nice so welcoming... Best damn food I've ever had! Shit I would love to have her in my kitchen.. You must try this place! So YUMMY BEST REAL COOKING EVER !!!!! MARCIE & CHEIF WE LOVE Y'ALL FoOD!!!!

Lorna is a real down home family mom & pop shop! Food is cooked from the soul, this is her passion and she is a great Chef. The service is always with a smile, checkout the deserts and ice tea drinks. Enjoy

Tried their curry chicken , jerk chicken, and ox tail as well as their corn bread , collards, plantains and mac. Everything was amazing and service was amazing as well definitely will be coming back

Best food hands down I crave it still till this day . I can't wait to go to Tampa to stop by again !
