Local Brewing

With the closure of our unmatched beer Mecca for the area - Palm Harbor House of Beers - a sad sad turn of events... Local Brewing Company, across & up I-19, is now the reigning champ for beer selection in the area with over 50 taps of draft beers. Amazing range of beers to satisfy any beer drinker or aficionado - so many local breweries across TampaBay are represented that you can travel the region with a beer glass!Only thing is the beer selection was very well chosen/curated /varied up front that they do minimal rotation across the selection which HoB used to do so expertly and challenged us with esoteric or unusual beers to try every time we came in. But be that as it may, the draft beer selection is stellar at LBC.LBC also has great sports bar, lots of screens across ample size space and great pub food! Think burgers, flatbreads, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads and great daily specials. I had the fish & chips which was perfectly cooked with crunchy batter and hot steaming fish inside -and look at the portions!All in all a great space with lots of music and community events with good bartenders to build a very welcoming environment

All you can eat crab legs on Thursdays and they're cooked just perfectly! Excellent bisque to accompany as well. Love my town,local LQ

Great spot for grabbing a brew/bite to eat, or to watch some live music (pretty much every Friday/Saturday). Bartenders were super responsive, although when we ordered our first beer (Other West Coast) and we could tell by the look, and then the taste, that it was some type of domestic. Got replaced quickly and with a smile. Wings were tasty and we'd definitely have them again!!

Stopped in for an evening of fun and dance with Disco Inferno. We grabbed an IPA beer from cycle brewing called crank... And some buffalo cauliflower. The beer is greatL as to be expected. The buffalo cauliflower was delicious, but it could have used a little bit more draining. There was quite a bit of oil in the bottom of the tray. But the flavor was good. I like a little bit more crisp on mine than what they had, but all in all it was a nice appetizer for the beginning of an evening of drinking. We always like it here at LBC. It's a good place with a good feel and lots of people to enjoy a good night with you should stop by and try it out if you have not.See you soon!

We stopped in to watch some college football on Saturday. These guys have a lot of TVs; it's a great place to watch games. We asked and they do have the NFL package too. They have a great beer list which features many locals as well as most of the standards. I ordered the chicken nachos to nosh on during the game. It was huge but a little goupy with a lot of cheese and sour cream. The chicken tasted like it was braised in a tomato sauce then shredded. It was good but I would have preferred it to be grilled and cubed. It was difficult to eat with your hands but it tasted good. My wife ordered a burger which was OK and cooked a little past the medium she ordered. Our server Alana did a great job making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to watch games and try other menu items.

They have a large beer selection that will satisfy everyone. They have everything from your basic American beers to some nice local microbrews. I got a Chicago Dog. It was kind of crazy. The hot dog was more of a foot long smoked sausage. The hot dog bun was enormous, like a sub roll. The dill pickles are the real deal. Not your typical store brand pickles. They taste like homemade dills. They forgot the celery salt, and strangely put mayo on it?! As strange as it was, it was also really good.

We like this place. Good beer and an upscale bar food menu. Great place to watch football. Our last experience we got a rude server who was just awful. Everyone else was great but beware of the bad seed.

Worst chicken nachos I've had! Not much chicken and what was on there wasn't good. My drink that had ice was horrible because the water for the ice was yuk! Go somewhere else!

My husband and I have been hearing about how good this place is, so we had to check it out. We were seated right away. You can sit inside or out. I would have loved to sit outside, but I have asthma and they smoke in that area. Our waitress was very good. She recommended some things, since it was our first time. She kept our tea glasses full and kept checking on us. We had fried cheese and spinach dip with chips as an appetizer. They were good and a the portion is big. The wedge salad was really good. Those are my favorite. My husband had a hamburger and said it was delicious. There are a lot of TV's around, so you can basically watch what you want. We will be returning to try more things on the menu

Friendly people. Really good food. Best slaw recipe of anywhere I've ever eaten. Clean. Outdoor area for kids and parties.
