We'd planned to stop in the tiny town of Dade City, on a motorcycle ride with some friends. It just happened to no be National Taco Day so we stopped here. We all ordered the taco platter (two tacos of your choice--soft or crunchy, and steak, chicken, ground beef, or shredded beef...and rice and beans). Great street-style tacos! Two types of salsa--I preferred the verde with a little bite. And even better, the owner came out with a platter of tacos...on the house! Barbacoa, carnitas and al pastor. Too cool. Gracias!Cold horchata, tasty food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. #Winning The only downside: They don't serve alcohol. And a couple of cold ones would've gone down so nicely...Highly recommended, of course.

I recently ate lunch at Little Mexico restaurant. While the decor and ambience leaves a lot to be desired the food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. Lots of traditional Mexican dishes on the menu. I had the wet chicken chimichanga and refried beans. The filling was delicious and the chili sauce made it that much better. Chips and salsa was fantastic as well. I love All that plus iced tea and tip for less than $13.I will definitely be back.

Enjoyed some real authentic Mexican prepared food for lunch. Located away from the main part of town, this location is like a little town. There is the restaurant, then an attached to the side is a Mexican food store, then a clothes, shoes and a little bit of everything store. We started off our meal with the traditional chips and salsa. The chips were homemade and hot. The sauce was a somewhat mild, Gringo sauce. We then ordered two combination plates so we could share. Burritos, Chalupas, Enchiladas and Flautas complimented by rice, refried beans with cheese and pico. The service was very good and our food was served hot and very delicious. I would definitely recommend this little tucked away place. If you really want to have fun however, spend time looking around the food store. It is absolutely amazing the different kinds of things they have.

We were in Dade City this weekend & decided to try Little Mexico. The food seemed very fresh to us & the service was excellent. I ordered Chicken Enchiladas Suizas & found it to be good. I was thankful the chicken filling was white meat. The only item of note though was the filling was only chicken. There was no flavoring or seasoning or added vegetables or anything to break up the monotony of the chicken. So the chicken enchilada was in part very dull. On top of the enchiladas there was a flavorful & spicy green tomatillo & jalapeño sauce. That helped to salvage the dish. My wife had a 3-Taco platter & she said it all tasted fresh. However it was lacking any fun flavor. The chips & salsa came & the chips also seemed fresh & hot. The salsa was just average however. It could have used some spice & seasoning. Overall this place wasn't bad. It's right in the middle on the rating scale because there are much worse places, but there is definitely room for improvement on the flavor.

Great little Mexican restaurant! We tried this restaurant while we are on our way through Dade city to a doctor appointment. They did not have white queso however we did try the yellow queso and it was excellent. The prices were reasonable and it did not take a long time to get our food. I have a lunch be fajitas and would say it was overall excellent especially for the area.

Terrible Mexican place, the salsa taste like the Doritos salsa from Walmart and horchata taste like powder one. The burrito wasn't even wrapped right, the food was brought to the table about an hour later. If your Mexican don't bother coming here, if you don't care about the food tasting good then come here.

Bland and blah. From the complimentary salsa to the entrees, nothing had any seasoning. Even the taco shells lacked flavor. They soda was weak and watery tasting. No beer is served here.

Will not go back! Filthy and no lighting in hallway to bathroom so waiter walked me to restroom. Big hole in ladies bathroom sink so water turned off. Couldn't wash my hands. Dining area has not had walls, ceiling or floors cleaned in months?? Should be inspected immediately. We had come here four years in a row and saw it deteriorate more every year. Food is good but afraid to eat here now. Would hate to think how filthy the kitchen is if the whole place is this rundown. Friendly staff and food tasted authentic. Seriously, you should see the place before you trust to order. Pictures on Yelp must be over 4 years old as we have never seen it look clean. But they could clean it up and be a great place again???
