Ling’s Dumplings

Located in Armature Works (Tampa Riverwalk).Ordered the chicken kimchi dumplings ($11.95) and the pork & beef soup dumplings ($12.95). I personally was not a big fan of the kimchi dumplings, but the soup dumplings were amazing! There is a little bit of a wait for the soup dumplings since they are prepared fresh upon order, but I had the time so I did not mind. They do offer a 'build your own' dumpling basket which allows for customers to customize their dumplings! There is also an assortment of drinks and boba to choose from as well! While I am not a fan of the price for the portion you get, I would reccommend for anyone wanting to try some dumplings!

Came on 1/30 for lunar new year event at Armature so they were pretty busy. We got a 10% discount coupon from the event (red envelope). Ordered dan dan noodles and soup dumplings (6 ct for $12.95). Took my name and phone number but gave no receipt. Said I'd get a text when the food was ready. That's nice so we can continue walking around. Soup dumplings were small, similar to those you'd get frozen (from Asian grocery). They were definitely juicy, but I wouldn't consider them soup dumplings. I honestly think they could pass for soup dumplings if the meat filling was smaller and there was more soup inside. I'd at least consider them mini soup dumplings. Anyway they were yummy still. Dan dan noodles are not what I expected. I've only had dan dan noodles twice and from different restaurants but I don't think either of them had the noodles that creamy. These from Ling's were covered in a peanut-y cream sauce almost. Unusual favor and noodle texture to me. The flat thin noodles were also a surprise as I was expecting the thicker round noodle. They weren't bad, but the strong peanut cream flavor had be thinking it was more of a frozen PF changs tv dinner. Service was simple and straightforward. Of course a beautiful day at armature had me feeling like I wasn't waiting long for food as well. Would I go back and pay those prices for what I got? Probably not.

i had an excellent experience at ling's with a friend. i ordered the pork scallion dumplings and my friend asked the staff to surprise him with their favorite flavors: mine were delicious and so were his! they tasted freshly made and their chili crisp was really good. we waited less than 10 mins for the food to be made to order and they hit the spot. the orders were filling but nothing too heavy.we didn't eat near the stand, we took it outside, but it looked like there was a small nearby seating area. i'll definitely come back for this if i'm in armature works again!

We went on a Monday night ordered the cucumber salad, beef and pork dumplings. Staff was nice however the food was pretty subpar. The cucumber salad hardly had any flavor to it and dumplings both pork and beef tasted like they were possibly microwaved from frozen. The dough was very slippery & the dumplings themselves didn't have much flavor to them either. Also ordered the Thai tea which was very watered down Most likely won't be back.

Went here during lunar new years festival, so it was busy and crowded, but the food still came out quick. The soup dumplings were good flavor wise, but I would have loved to have more soup in them so they can really explode when you bit into them. They also tasted almost identical to some frozen soup dumplings I've bought at Costco multiple times, so maybe they're just frozen? The Dan Dan noodles were just okay. They're very very peanut sauce flavor forward. The peanut flavor was very over powering over any other flavor besides some mild spice. The portion sizes were good though I probably wouldn't come back considering the prices are pretty high for what you get.

I had pork dumplings and I was surprised at how good they tasted! They were a little greasy but that part wasn't surprising. It was a bit of a wait but I would like to go back and try something else.

The chicken kimchee dumplings were really tasty and flavorful. The chili oil and kimchee together were delicious! The service was very great. Friendly staff. There are a few tables near and that was a plus, since it was busy (it was the creamsicle day event). The ambiance at armatureworks is always so awesome!!

This is a newer spot in Armature Works. Hubs and I decided to make an early date for lunch to try it out on Father's Day. It's a walk up and order place and they text you when your order is ready. Staff seemed bored when we walked up. I decided on the beef bulgogi dumplings which from the description sounded good. I love Korean food and bulgogi so it's a win for me :) think again! Not sure if they actually make these fresh the day of or not, I wanna say they do given the steamers inside the place. It tasted nothing like bulgogi. Hubs is Korean and even agreed. They had so much topping on it also that it just drowned the dumplings. And I'm not sure if it was the fact that they were sitting in the sauce that made them soggy to the point where the entire bottom of the dumplings were falling off or if it was just poor quality of the dumpling itself. Because I've had my fair share of dumplings and I've never had that happen! I just cannot recommend this place. We paid over $30 for 2 containers of 6 dumplings. And they were horrible.

Y'all, I wanted this to be great but it's just very average. Lots to choose from but I ended up with soup dumplings because I order those wherever I go! Unfortunately, they didn't have much broth at all and were nothing to write home about. Also, my husband can usually eat dumplings with his allergies, but apparently all of their dumplings have milk in them so he could not. I'm wondering what they're using that other places do not that would make milk an ingredient in every dumpling. I would consider trying some of their other, non-soup dumplings in the future but hopefully they get it together soon.

I am a huge dumpling fan! I was very excited to try this place ! Finally got the chance to try it and I was not disappointed... I got the pork dumplings added scallion and two different types of spicy oil... This was a part of the dumpling basket order. The basket comes with six dumplings. After I ordered the basket came out pretty quickly, did not have to wait long.
