Stopped by here after checking out the aftermath of what hurricane Milton did to the pier.Was in the mood for a light meal, ordered the 'chowdah' and was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful it was and had lots of clam meat!Will have to come back to check out the other items.Saw a family group next to me that ordered the lobster tacos and they looked epic!Thanks for the meal!

The lobster roll was delicious--the lobster pieces were huge, fresh, and full of flavor! Definitely one of the better lobster rolls I've had.I would love to sit outside, but the tables have bird poop stains, which is understandable being near the water. Inside is quaint and has a cozy, laid-back vibe.If you're craving a great lobster roll and don't mind a casual setting, this is a solid spot to check out!

They have reopened and are getting back to normal after all of the hurricanes!!! Hooray! I have reviewed this restaurant several times, and I think in one of my posts I wrote how delicious the lobster bisque was, but it didn't have as much lobster meat as I was expecting. Well, I learned that you can order the lobster bisque 'loaded' - they top your bisque with a ton of lobster meat, so that is what I tried today!! It did not disappoint, it was very tasty and delicious.We sat inside, which is nice and bright but there are outdoor seats as well. When you walk in, you place your order at the counter, get a number and your food is brought to you. They also serve ice cream, which I haven't tried yet, but heard it's delicious!!

Delicious food, great views. I would definitely return if ever in the area. I ate the cold Lobstah roll, my first lobstah roll evah. Would like to try the hot buttered version.

Hey, it's always great to find a casual eatery that serves fresh lobster rolls. What can I say?It's located at the foot of the pier in Ballast Point Park. It's where Taste of Boston used to be. A place that I never had the pleasure of visiting. All I can say is that Leon's gives you a good amount of lobster for the price. Lobster is expensive in Florida. What I liked the most is that it wasn't overly seasoned with Old Bay. I could actually taste the lobster with the melted butter. I'm not going to compare it to the rolls I've had in New England. There really isn't a way to compare it. If you love fresh lobster, then you'll love this roll. It comes with a bag of kettle chips, but you can get fries for an extra $1. They were crispy, golden, and seasoned very well. It was well worth the upgrade. I'd totally order the same thing again.There's indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to enjoy my lunch on the covered outdoor patio. It was a hot and humid day, but I couldn't resist the view. There are also tables with big umbrellas that are closer to the pier. There's always a place to sit and eat nearby if you prefer to take it to-go. Even if it's on the pier. Service is great! I didn't even get to pick up after myself. The nice lady who took my order and delivered it to me just happened to be there to pick it up when I was done. I'm looking forward to trying the lobster bisque next time. The loaded one looks great in pictures. Although, the whole belly clams basket looks very tempting. It shows whole belly ones on the website menu, but I think the restaurant menu had clam strips. Maybe they are seasonal. I'm also thinking my husband may like the smash burger, or fried grouper. Hopefully I can drag him here with me after a commissary run one day soon.

The food was delicious. I got the salad, it was very fresh and the warm lobster on top was plentiful and buttery. The service was very attentive.

You can't ask for anything more.Had the pleasure of visiting Leon's Lobstah Shack in South Tampa and had a great time. Thier food is amazingly good and thier Lobstah Rolls is no joke. Want to experience a Waterfront View and Dining,? Come by and visit Leon's in South Tampa. You will be welcomed by a wonderful staff. So much Deliciousness going on at Leon's Lobstah Shack.What I tried:1) Hot Lobstah Roll- a definite selection 2) Lobstah Tacos- Can't go wrong with these babies 3) Double Chesse Burger- a classic that won't dissapoint 4) Shrimp Salad- a definite hit for the healthy one plus the Shrimp are big. In addition, they also serve ice cream which makes all the better to visiting

Leon's lobstah shack is a quaint mom and Pop shop in South Tampa. I was immediately greeted when I entered the door and the cashier took my order. I ordered the lobster roll and it came with a side of chips. The lobster roll was $27 for the smallest lobster roll I've ever had in my life. Also, it was very little flavor. Not very much value for such lack luster flavors.

A great little place right on the water with a nice park for kids to play. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and we both enjoyed it very much. She had the shrimp basket with fries. I had the bang shrimp tacos and a order of union rings. Her shrimp and fries were delicious and seasoned very well. My tacos were also delicious and seasoned very well. The union rings was good but did lack seasoning. This is definitely a good place to come and relax. We will be back to try more items on the menu.

Three of us old folks went to Leon's on the coldest day of the year and the ambiance was magical. I know, I know you gotta be thinking I'm crazy but no. The fact that the food was excellent and the service by Christina only made the experience better.I swear this is one of Tampa bay's best kept secrets. I almost hate to tell you all about it because I'd love to keep this place to myself but I want them to do well and open a place near where I live.If you love lobster you must stop by!
