Legends Academy Cafe

WOW!! After seeing all these amazing reviews, I had to try this place out for breakfast and am SOOOOO glad we did! The food was all fantastic and service was so refreshing, like the old diners where you could chat with the waitresses and feel like you live in a small town. The food was like eating a home cooked meal and the serving sizes and options were plentiful. This is a small cafe with limited seating, we were lucky to go on a Sunday and didn't have to wait-probably just picked a good time. They also have lunch and serve dinners on Thursday and Friday. The menu looks amazing and we will definitely be returning soon!

I enjoyed the fried haddock sandwich very much. I didn't like onions so removed them. I found the sub type bun somewhat difficult and messy to eat. The French fries were frozen crinkle cut. The waitress was excellent and she even offered me 10% off as a retired teacher. That and other walks of life are included in that offer. I would return again.

Amazing food! I have been here at least 5 times and each time was wonderful. I need to go back for dinner eras their menu looks amazing!The owners are awesome too and carry a great conversation. They serve mimosas and bloody Mary's for brunch so how can you go wrong?The atmosphere is casual but inviting so for sure give it a try!

Most delicious food. You won't be disappointed. I had the country fried chicken Cobb salad. It was excellent but too much for me to eat. They also have a fish plate or sandwich. The fish is fried haddock. Also delicious.

We decided to try somewhere new for Mother's Day and to keep it local. We were immediately greeted upon entering. The location is not big by any means but they have both booths and tables for seating. We were sat rather quickly and greeted by our server within a minute. A nice surprise was I was treated to beautiful rose and a "Momosa" for coming in this day. Our waitress was extremely friendly and we enjoyed the service we received.The food was great! Not over the top best but definitely good enough to make us return. Nobody had a complaint about anything we received!

I had seen this place talked about on the Hernando County Restaurant group on Facebook. My friend and I decided to check it out. I think I had some reservations going in because there were like 3 restaurants in the area with the name Legend. Legend Sushi is basically trash, and Legends at Silverthorn closed and rebranded and sounds fancy since it's a high-end golf community clubhouse. So I was confused with all the Legend stuff in the area... but I guess they are all unrelated.I'm glad I tried this restaurant because it was really amazing. I had some special of the day hot chicken sandwich, which was pretty spicy but very flavorful. My friend had a burger, and he loved it. Both of our sandwiches came with hot seasoned fries. I don't like cole slaw, but my friend ate it and loved it. The server was also super friendly and attentive, although we were one of two tables with customers. Definitely will be back.

Had a great late day breakfast that they were kind enough to serve us. Our waitress, Adara made it a very pleasurable day and did an outstanding job taking care of us making us feel very comfortable and appreciated. Food was outstanding and highly recommend. Wasn't our first time nor will it be our last. Great people and great food.

Casual dining with a well prepared staff that knows the menus and hours of operation. Our server's name was Tammy she was very knowledgeable and kind. When she came to our table she stated that she had one table ahead of us and she would be right over. She did not disappoint. I ordered the shrimp and cheese grits my son ordered the Legends breakfast bowl with ham, sausages, spinach eggs and cheese.. I tasted it and it was good. I found out that I don't like cheese on my grits and now I know to not get the cheese the next time.The prices were reasonable. The parking was tight but, we found a spot on the other side of the hair salon in the center.

The food is great. Staff are very friendly. Place is clean and very cozy. Food came out hot, seasoned and cooked perfectly. They have lunch menu and they also do dinner on select days. Definitely a must try.
