Yum yum yum... What a lovely yelp find. So.... TEMPORARILY or permanently... there is some god awful road construction right in front of Lavita, which may make you skip or not find this joint altogether. Don't let it phase you. Lavita has legitimate gluten free desserts and breakfast/ brunch items. I got the donut, cake, and the two different bars to bring to a birthday party and the treats were well received, especially by our gluten intolerant family member. Not GF folks also dug the treats. I also came and sat and had the avocado toast on a bagel, which was also yum. Definitely check it out.

I love the many coffee shops of Dunedin. This one is hands-down my favorite. My friend and I bike every Saturday morning and reward ourselves for our long journey with an Americano and some sort of breakfast treat. They have vegan and gluten-free options and everything is scrumptious.Go to is the vegan everything bagel- it's light and tasty. The staff is so friendly and accommodating - It's also perfectly located right on the Pinellas Trail.

Love this cafe for scones, coffee and lunch. The staff is joyful and kind and you get to sit right on the bike path and 1/2 block from Arts District. Love it!

We stopped for a gelato on our way back home from walk downtown. The cafe was very nice, clean, and tastefully decorated. The gelato was excellent. The selection was limited, but very good. We thought their gelato was better than the gelato place behind Cafe Al Fresco. They have a small breakfast and lunch menu, but something for everyone. The person who waited on us was super friendly! We'll definitely be going back.

Enjoyed a caprese crepe and a banana carmel crepe with a friend. Wonderful, so light and fluffy. The basalmic vinegar on the caprese crepe is so flavorful. Got a homemade gluten free plain cheesecake to go. Looks wonderful, can't wait to try. If u are a local, do get the coffee shop reward program because you will return time and again for the tummy, fresh food and cute ambiance. The staff is so kind and wonderful!

In no way is this a bad three star review, with so many other options in the area, I just see room for improvement. While there is a small lot to park behind the shop, it is a very tight squeeze so I recommend just being cautious.Service was friendly and I greatly appreciated the loyalty program that they offer. It seems pretty legit. All sauces and syrups are made in-house so when I ordered the coconut latte I was told they did not have the syrup ready so I opted for chocolate. The coffee was okay, enjoyable but not to memorable. Which leads me to the bagel sandwich. I believe this is an all vegan bakery which is maybe why the bagel was so dense. I did not enjoy the flavor, although the salmon and cucumber spread inside was good. I think I would return, yes, but only after visiting a few more options in the area first.

I have been wanting to try this spot for the last year and was finally able to go. I believe we were taking to the owner but she was so friendly! She gave us an overview of their dishes/pastries and their philosophy. We got a box of different pastries to try a variety. Everything was pretty good- their scones are not overly sweet. It's the perfect amount of sweet while still staying moist. They have a good variety of pastries, breakfast, lunch, drinks, etc. she mentioned that they make everything fresh, which I love. Supposedly the pizza is very popular so I definitely want to go back and try it. They have a nice indoor and outdoor area (with umbrellas) right along the trail.

This is one of the most relaxing and cheerful cafes I've ever visited. I loved the wide variety of fresh pastries, eventually settling on the almond apricot canoe (gluten free, no dairy), which was phenomenal. My ice latte was also perfect. I can't wait to come back over the next few days to try the other offerings. Highly recommend!

They have a large selection of home made dessert and pastries. It's a small place but they do have some seating outside and it is right on the pinellas trail for easy access or stopping on your walk/ride. Lady at the counter both mornings was more then pleasant. Ordered a bagel with almond butter and bananas the first day and enjoyed it enough to come back again. Coffee is decent. They use an industrial machine which grinds the beans before brewing. Looks just like the style you can find in a Sheetz gas station. Therefore it is not a standard espresso machine but still does a decent job.
