Larry's Deli Land O Lakes

We tried Larry's for the first time today and it was very good! It was pretty busy but got our sandwich fairly quickly. We ordered a 12" Cuban sandwich the traditional way and although it was very tasty, it wasn't authentic if that's what you're looking for. It didn't have the lechon pieces instead it has mojo pork slices and it had mayo on it. Still very good if you're looking to fill that craving!

Not the Larry's I remember, I grew up in land o lakes and I used to go to Larry's all the time. It was the best sandwich shop in town, I know this sounds silly but I went to LOLHS and our mascot was a gator. Larry's used to be painted UF colors blue and orange. I've always loved their Reuben Cuban, I ordered it again recently and it was tasteless the new owners should talk with the original owners and figure out what they did differently. I'd hate to see this place close, it's a staple in land o lakes.

Larry's Deli is a staple at my friend's house so I had to give it a try (but I ordered delivery so I'm mindful that my food wasn't as fresh as if I were in the actual restaurant). I got the veggie sandwich and OMG! The flavor was incredible, but I will say, there is SO much cheese I found myself fishing for the vegetables. If you're also ordering takeout I would ask for any sauce on the side because the bread was falling apart on some of the other sandwiches from the sauce and grease dripping through.

First time ordering from Larry's using Uber Eats. They left out my cuban sandwich. Sent the pickles and chips, a turkey club, and NO CUBAN. Not going to try again My Uber delivery person said they told her both sandwiches were in the bag. Nope, not there.

I ordered a pickle with my sandwich, and I swear it was almost the size of my forearm. I got a double crab for a couple bucks that would've cost me 10 times as much at La Segunda.. lots of meat on the sandwich this place got it going on. Out of every single place I've ever ordered from this is got the most meat on the sandwich I've ever had.. absolutely perfect

Try this hidden gem. Deli sandwiches and salads they even have party subs! Order ahead or walk in u won't be disappointed!

I have literally been going to Larry's deli my whole life. Land o' Lakes high school we would leave at lunch, blaze a doobie, and head to Larry's with our lunch money. The cafeteria food was crap at LOL. I have never gotten a sandwich from Larry that was bad. The prices are fair for what you get. They used to have a bunch of produce but they've dialed it back. No one goes to Larry's for the bananas!Today I got a 6" cuban rueben, and it was amazing. Great bread, plenty of pastrami( you can choose corned beef), great flavor, & I am full!Everything is great and it gets busy around noon, so plan ahead. It closes at 3pm. Do yourself a favor and grab a sammy!

I haven't ordered from Larry s in a while. I had heard that Larrys was now open on Sundays! We were having a pool party and so I ordered using the on line menu. This was a lot better than calling in the order. When we got there, they pressed our sandwiches and we were in business. Sandwiches were awesome!!

So I think theres a new owner because the staff is all new and the place is redecorated. I dont think the cuban sandwich is as good as it used to be, HOWEVER the staff is now very polite which was never the case before. I rarely went there because the staff was sooo rude. I will definitely stop in more often now and maybe Ill try something other than the cuban. They did add a few tables and chairs inside so now you can sit down and eat or have a place to sit while waiting.

Best Cuban you'll ever have Period. Garlic butter press is the only way. They new owners have kept the quality and added upgrades and new equipment to the slightly older building. Larrys will be a staple for many years to come.
