LALA St Pete

I love the Grand Central District- and LALA is a great representation of the neighborhood, it's charming, upbeat and dynamic. I had the Mediterranean Pasta- which was light, refreshing and tangy. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the artichoke hearts were delicious. I like how the restaurant is in the heart the Grand Central District- which is super vibrant. The weather was nice so the garage-style windows were open, great people people watching and homey vibe. I really enjoyed the karaoke that was going on during the dining experience. Our server was very kind and attentive. Overall, this is a great spot for a party, fun hangout with friends or a casual foodie vibe.

Good food, good drinks, great atmosphere, good service.I got the 'Merica burger and fries with a spicy margarita and it was good. Expensive for the quality of the margarita but lesson learned. Some folks think because it's a "specialty" drink that it should come with a special price. Not!However, the burger / fries were both very good.

Such a fun and unique spot! The atmosphere is lively, especially with the karaoke rooms, which make it perfect for a night out with friends.The food is delicious, with a great mix of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, and the drinks are just as good. The service is always friendly and keeps the energy going.If you're looking for a place with great food, drinks, and entertainment, this is definitely a must-visit in St. Pete!

This was such a good time! The openness of the design allowed for nice cool airflow. It was beautiful on the breezy day that I went. You can people watch from inside and of course the karaoke!!!!! You have to keep the songs clean because there's kids. Even though a kid went up there cussing up a storm to the song they chose LOL. The decor is so cute and it's right on a busy St. Pete strip. The food was delicious. I got a fish dish and a soup and I cleaned the plate. The drinks were well made and it really is a wonderful place to go with friends or a day on the town. I haven't been at night but it was perfect during the day.

Update: I have gone back at least a half dozen times and the food is outstanding; the service at the Bar is impeccable and the place is hip and hopping. You can still get your groove on in one of their Karaoke Rooms. And I still forget pictures. Lol

The service at the bar was really good. They were friendly and attentive. I tried the half rack of ribs. The ribs were cooked really well; they were very tender but the flavor was meh. The sauce was too sweet for me with no balance. The popcorn didn't add anything to the flavor, just seemed like decoration.

We've been to Lala a few times already and we always have such an amazing time. This time, we went over the week so it was half off for the 2 hour slot of our private karaoke room. We really enjoy the different themes each room has. Were in the speakeasy room this time around. This is a great spot for birthdays, get togethers, and even date nights since they have smaller rooms available as well. Overall, it's always a great experience.Only thing I would change would be for the music selection program to be connected to a service that has every song available. Some of the songs we wanted to sing were not available and we had to click a button to suggest the song being added to the library and hopefully it would be on your next visit. All and all, we still had a lot of fun.

For my birthday this year I decided to rent a private karaoke room at LaLa St Pete for my birthday party. The funny thing is I definitely do not sing karaoke, but I do love to dance. I thought it would be like having my own private nightclub/restaurant/bartender and I was right. We arrived extra early for our 9:15pm reservation and checked in with the host in the restaurant. We then went upstairs to the outside bar for cocktails. When it was time our room attendant escorted us to The Grammy Room which was upstairs right next to the bar we were waiting at. The Grammy Room holds up to 10 people and was gorgeous with large windows lining the room and a very elegant vibe. Our room attendant was amazing. She explained how to operate the karaoke and that that there were 70,000 songs in their library. She also told us that the bathrooms were located downstairs, and no standing on the furniture. We then started to queue up the songs that people wanted to sing, which was super easy. We never had a problem finding a song we wanted, and our song choices were extremely eclectic. She then took our food and drink orders. I was so happy to see that each couple could use their own credit cards to pay for what they ordered instead of one huge bill to split up at the end of the night. As many reviews had said, the session goes by fast, so I came with a list that I gathered prior to my party of the songs that my friends wanted to sing, as to not waste any precious karaoke time. We all had an absolute blast. I danced and sang along with everyone the entire night.Our amazing karaoke attendant always seemed to perfectly show up just when we needed to place another food or drink order. My friends that said that the would not sing wound up singing and having the times of their lives. It was such an epic night, and I can't wait to do it again soon. LaLa St Pete is a great place to have some entertainment with your dinner, because they have delicious food and drinks and several different sized and themed karaoke rooms to choose from. Plus renting a private karaoke room on a week day or earlier in the day will save you money.

My husband and I stoped in for a quick bite to eat and cocktail. The service was top notch and the restaurant has a trendy relaxed feel. I had a Bloody Mary that was delicious and my husband had a mocktail that was also very good. We ordered the bruschetta and calamari both were very good. I am looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing -- love the upper level, downstairs bar and the available rooms. Food is great, selection is varied and high quality.
