Great local ice cream shop! Dairy free options were great with 5 flavors to choose from. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Soda bar sitting area is a great old school touch. Definitely need to check this place out if you are in town.

You could easily drive by & not know they're here. Just a small ice cream sign. Definitely worth the stop. Great selection of flavors and great staff. There are a few tables outside. Unfortunately the tables are often full of groups of people not eating ice cream.

I have been wanting to try this ice cream joint for a long time, and I finally got the opportunity just the other day! The "C is for cookie" had always caught my eye because 1. Blue is my favorite color and 2. I LOVE cookies! It was the perfect choice for a brownie sundae! However, the price was a little steep for what I got. This was $8. I think one scoop is around $4. The ice cream is very good though, don't get me wrong. Plus, they have so so many flavors to choose from. There really isn't anywhere to sit inside other than a little bar with some chairs, but they do have seating outside. A great place to cool off in the heat! You can also take your favorite flavor home with you in a bigger tub!

I gotta give these guys some credit, because there are thousands of ice cream shops found far and wide across the country, and yet Lakeland Ice Cream Co has still found a way to stand out from your typical ice cream place. They have dozens of flavors to pick from, it's so hard to choose because they have some really interesting, truly unique flavors that you don't see a lot so you want to try all of them, lol. They have some fun specials as well, they are known for their "ice cream burrito" where they wrap the ice cream in cotton candy! They have "ice cream nachos" as well, where the chips are pieces of waffle cone, it's so creatively fun. What I thought was neat too was that they had at least 8-9 different flavors of waffle cones- they came in a couple different colors and are homemade, it was a nice extra touch. I will say the prices are a little higher than preferred, but the ice cream was so splendid it's WORTH it! I got the mexican hot chocolate and I couldn't even believe how good it was! It was so chocolatey, yet there was a kick of cayenne at the end, and it was crazy to me that they made that into ice cream. My dad got the garbage can ice cream, and it has 7 different candy bars in it, and you could quite literally taste every individual one. This is such a cool place, I was so impressed!

My husband and I love Lakeland ice cream company. They opened not too long ago and we've visited twice since whenever we're in Lakeland. First, the smell of waffle cones fills the room. They have many different waffle cone flavors but our favorite is the chocolate waffle cone. Second, the portion sizes are very large and the prices are great. The photo attached is there double cone. Third, there are always soooo many flavors to choose from. There's your typical ice cream flavors, unique flavors like Mexican hot chocolate (which is bomb by the way), they have sugar free options, and even dairy free.

My family and I love this place. There are so many different flavors of ice cream it could be overwhelming (but in a good way) The location is nothing fancy and the only seating is outside. They seem to always be staffed to handle any amount of traffic.

*Edited*I've been a consistent customer since opening and love their product. After a poor service experience, I was forced to use social media and alternative areas to expose the issue. As a result, Lakeland Ice Cream did reach out and went above and beyond to rectify the issue.I am grateful to see a business address and correct their shortfalls and strive to grow their crew and business through the inevitable problems that arise in such a field.I highly recommend their product and business. You will become addicted to this ice cream too.

I went today and got two single little scoops for me and my husband and paid $12 dollars. No, thank you!

I came here yesterday with my husband, daughter, niece, and my two nephews for an ice cream date. It was so delicious. My nephews both got a combination of superman and cotton candy. I got cookies and cream with the chocolate and caramel ice cream. (can't remember the name). And I have no idea what the girls or my husband got lol there were no complaints. The two gentlemen in there working for quick and friendly and the store so it is very clean and bright. Will definitely come back here!
