One of the best farm markets I've been to in Florida. I know that's not saying much but this farm market definitely over achieves. Amazing array of food purveyors, arts, crafts and beautiful atmosphere. A lot larger than I expected too.

This Saturday Farmer's Market in Downtown Lakeland, FL, is such a delight, with plenty of treats, local eats, and interesting finds from the local vendors showcased there.Everyone was friendly and happy to chat about their goods, and the caliber of the treats available may have even outdone what I've seen at our local markets in Tampa. So many items looked picture-perfect and tasted just as good as they looked. The market stretches for several blocks, and it feels like it goes on and on, which is exactly what you want from a good market. Parking was free and easy to find, and even on a warm day, the trees offered some light coverage from the sun.Even though Lakeland is a little drive from Tampa, my friends and I were able to pair up our morning hike near here so that we could stop by afterwards, and after shopping and supporting local, we had our choice of all of the amazing businesses nearby to grab a some lunch before heading back to Tampa.I'll definitely be back to this market!

Hands down this is one of the best local markets I've been to. I was surprised with how large it was, taking up 4 blocks on Kentucky Ave. It really does seem to go on forever and I like that it's located all on one street. It has a wide variety of vendors and is easily accessible. Sometimes downtown markets seem daunting but I've never yet had trouble finding a parking space at this one. Whether you're looking for fresh produce, prepared meals or homemade kombucha, unique clothing or jewelry, delicious food or just a leisurely Saturday stroll, this market is worth checking out. As much as this phrase incites profound torment in some, I'm happy to say there IS actually something for everyone. Highlights for me:- gorgeous boho accessories @ Penduca- fun little things @ The Red Swan - lakeland merch @ East Of These- beautifully decorated macarons @ Milk & Honey- local honey and watching the honeybees at work @ Red Roof Farms - iced coffee and (the best) giant gf peanut butter cookie @ Mitchell's Coffee House- the Botany Cats lounge (in a mobile trailer) where you can play with adoptable cats and kittens (I'm sadly allergic but this was adorable)- bubble tea @ MK Boba - strawberry kombucha on tap @ Krazy Kombucha- diy bouquet @ Maggie Kate's Flower Cart- all of the crystal vendors Tip: After you're done at the market, hit up Black & Brew and people watch across from Munn Park, or head over to Lake Mirror for a walk around one of the best local lakes and flower gardens (Hollis Garden).

I really enjoyed this cute and well organized farmers' market in downtown Lakeland. It takes up about 3 full blocks, with many different vendors of food, plants, art, etc.; and tasty food trucks to add to the excitement. What makes it even better is that you're able to make reservations for brunch, grab a quick lunch at a sandwich spot, or a beer at the brewery while walking along the strip. The market is open every Saturday morning until around 1pm. Check out the fresh coffee tent and grab a fresh squeezed drink from a food truck.

We love the lakeland farmers market. Mostly because we love going there to eat lunch. LOLThere's basically anything you may be looking for. Dog treats and collars and accessories. Plants. Fruits & vegetables. Jams. Handmade jewelry. T-shirts. Etc...etc...etc. We love the food. Our favorite spots: Wafu which is a taiyaki (Japanese waffle) truck, specifically love the kimchi & cheese and for sweet, the Nutella. We also love the sweet arepa stand, and Omusubee which makes seaweed wrapped rice balls stuff with proteins or veggies.

Biiiig farmers market girl right here! And I'm so grateful that my sweet town of Lakeland has an awesome and thriving downtown market every Saturday!I have been going for years now, and it's pretty much the only place I buy my fruits and vegetables because they have the BEST and freshest produce, especially when compared to a lot of grocery stores. A rule I have about fruit is, the bigger it is, the better it tastes. And the produce stands here have softball sized (not even joking) apples, peppers, peaches and more. The strawberries are golf ball sized or bigger, and the blueberries can be dollar coin sized. In this case, I truly believe that bigger is better and size matters. But there is far more beyond the lovely produce available. It's small business haven here, and the market is a really big one considering Lakeland isn't a big city compared to its nearby counterparts (aka Tampa, Orlando, etc). So, there's a huge and random variety of products and services to be found. Some of the best boba I have ever had is made locally and sold here by Lakeland's own MK Boba. There are plants galore, food trucks with so many ethnic food options, pet gear, knitted and sewed stuffed animals and clothing, homemade candles, wind chimes, and that's all literally just breaking the surface.Plus, downtown Lakeland is already the cutest area and a pleasurable walk around, so having the market just elevates the good vibes. If you need me on a Saturday morning I'm most likely hitting the market!

Love love love this market. It's worth the drive from Tampa as it is consistent and has great offerings. It's not a huge market, it's on the main strip in downtown Lakeland but plenty to keep you entertained for a while and the cute boutique shops on the street are adorable as well. Cheese? Pickled items? Asian flare food trucks? Plants? This is your place. It was busy but not overly crowded as there's parks in the area and sidewalks to spread out on.I can't wait to return.

I love this outdoor street market! I've visited on two occasions now. Unfortunately when we stopped by today, on my second visit, the vendor I wanted to purchase goods from was not present. At least half of the merchants were not present today - Saturday January 2, 2021.On my first visit a couple of months ago, we enjoyed the scenery, the people, the people watching, the various foods to eat and the vendors! There's a lovely park available to sit and relax, play with you kids, have a picnic etc

We love this little market a lot. It runs only on Saturdays downtown on streets bordering Munn Park on Kentucky & Pine. There is plenty of free parking scattered around.Besides the farmers market selling produce of many kinds (both traditional and exotic), there are food trucks & stalls, and sellers of cheese, jerky, breads, jams, pickles, pastries, salsas & guacamole, etc. Many give out free samples before you purchase. There are plant sellers and many artists and crafters of all kinds. Some are weekly, some change out frequently. They often have events in Munn Park at the same time, offering an overflow of sights, plus many shops and cafes in the immediate area are open as well.
