This golf course is great, had an excellent experience during my visit. Plenty of parking and the club house is very nice. I checked in and ended up chatting with the staff for probably 15 minutes or so, then got my cart loaded up and proceeded to the check in with the starter who let my group go out a few minutes early since it wasn't busy. Course was in great shape, and we didn't catch up to anyone, that could me we were slow, he he. Course conditions were in awesome shape.I would definitely suggest anyone who hasn't played this course to give it a try, you won't be disappointed. There are two full 18-hole courses, the South and North courses.

Hidden gem. Lake Jovita is the nicest semi-private club I've seen. We have played a few times. Both courses are superb. The dining room/bar area is welcoming and the prices are very affordable. If there is a negative review on this place it's a Karen review

0 stars . Asked about condition when we made the tee time. North Course. Flat out lied. Drove an hour to play a $100 course that is in muni condition at best. Paid for 18 but left after 9 holes because we were so disappointed. They should just be honest and people won't be disappointed if they decide to play here. I'd rather pay $200 but actually be on a decent course instead of paying $100 and be on a course that hasn't seen the bunkers maintained in years months with blown out fairways and tee boxes etc. ugh

This duo of courses are one of my favorites in the Tampa Bay area. They are firmly on the upper end of the second tier of courses just below the destination golf Resorts/Courses of Streamsong, Southern Hills, Black Diamond Ranch, and World Woods. The North course is a rolling links style course with big holes that require thought on sightlines from the tee and greens that you MUST stay below for a good round putting. The South course is an absolute blast. It has several very difficult holes that are still extremely fun to play. The first hole may be the hardest hole in all of Pinellas County. This course requires lots of different clubs from the tee box, laying up short of, and carrying bunkers, elbows, and trees. For me and my group we think it's the harder of the two, but also oddly the more gettable for a low score of the two due it's shorter feeling playing length. The staff is always friendly, the carts are always clean, and it's a pretty good sized range, that occasionally you might have to wait a minute to find a spot.

Have stopped a few times for lunch. Has high turn over which is usually a sign of poor management in some area. Place is clean with plenty of space to relax. Food has been great tasting with large portions. A bit pricey but not bad. They do charge a 20% gratuity automatically on your bill. Not sure if they get a lot of non tippers or it's their way to take tips from the wait staff. We tip cash as well but it make one wonder. All in all, a very nice experience every time. Worth a try.

Non existent service. Wait and wait to no avail. No one to assist and poor signage. Oh no, make it no signage.

Started coming here years ago. Some of the most challenging courses around and 2 very different 18's. Greens are always in perfect shape.

Disappointed in the lack of any sort of service provided by this club. We played 2 days and saw a beverage cart twice (total), and had nobody clean our clubs or take them to the car or bag drop. No greeting from the front desk person when we entered. The club gave off a bit of a hollow feeling.Starters were nice, and the girls in the pro shop were nice. The guys who worked the cart area were also nice - but didn't appear interested in earning tips. Maybe there's a lack of management, or maybe it's just a member club. The golf itself was ok... very little drinking water on the North Course, and no halfway house?! Like I said, we saw the drink cart once per day. For this level of service, we won't be back.

I was at this course while my daughter was playing in a collegiate tournament. The male members of this course stood around and watched the college players practicing on the driving range and I overheard their disgusting sexual comments. My daughter saw me getting mad and told me not to say anything! I have to say something! What a creepy bunch of dirty old men! I heard "headlights, two hands, sweet". My daughter would not let me tell her coach! GROSS! Avoid this creepy course!!

Beautiful golf course, nice conditions, great greens. The pace of play absolutely sucked. We saw one five-some, and never saw a ranger all day. I'm not sure that I would return.
