First timer. Food was delicious, we had the special of the day, rice, beans & pollo guisado, a side of tostones and the Chimi burger. The place is beautifully decorated and very lively in colors. Greta music for good vibes as well. Our server was very nice but the wait on the food was a little upsetting especially for it to not be steaming hot when it comes out. My partners food came out warm, not hot and I didn't get my plate till 4 minutes later. We only ordered 2 plates and a side. Only down side of the chimi, although it was very good, it was DRENCHED with sauce and the burger patty barely made up half of the bun, which was upsetting. We will be back but we will try different items.

La Tinaja certainly did not disappoint. The drinks were really good, the service was great. Our waitress made great recommendations and was very pleasant and accommodating. The mofongo cuatro golpes was absolutely delicious and the tostones were amazing. The charrasco was cooked perfectly, very tender. I will definitely be back! So happy to find something local.

I mean who knew there would be a Dominican restaurant in the middle of Spring Hill! The service was nice. The food was good. It's not your Dominican Abuela's cooking but it will definitely do if you are ever craving it. The food is seasoned well.

Food was really good. The restaurant was very clean, good music and nicely decorated. I ordered the Chimi and the Domincan spaghetti, both were really good, fresh and very flavorful. This place needs more reviews because its really good. They also have a full bar to come and enjoy some drink.

Decided to try this place. It was pretty empty on a cold Wednesday night. Couple people at the bar and a family at one table. Walked in and hostess walked within 5 feet of me and never acknowledged me. Went to back and didn't return for a few minutes. Lady behind bar would not make eye contact with me or acknowledge I was waiting to be seated. I guess they didn't want business from my type so I left
