La Pelotera Food Truck

The ladies in the truck were very sweet. The food was great! A bit pricey in my opinion but I do try to remember that it's a family owned food truck. We ate on one of their park benches and the ambiance was nice. We went late at nice and felt safe!

The prices were out the roof, but the food was definitely worth it. My boyfriend and I got the Salchipapas #1 and they were so good! We also got the agua frescas & wowz! They were amazing too!! Definitely coming again!

Ordered food for delivery. The Arepas with pork and shrimp were awesome. A lot of meat and good ingredients with avocado, cheese, lettuce, etc. Yum! Going to order again!

This food truck is strategically positioning themselves next to Futbol 5. It generates some business from the soccer player who play there. The night time soccer allow the food truck to open till late in the hour. This truck sell arepa, cachapas and weekend special. I have the shrimp arepa. You have a choice of cold or hot arepa. The hot arepa is the skin will be fried. I have the hot arepa with shrimp. The shrimp size is big and they many count of them. The arepa is $7. However, the vinegar is overtop the good taste. I actually don't like too much vinegar on food. They should ask the customers if they like it. The special of the night include black beef, quail egg, and some other stuff that is very interesting. The food need to eat immediately to gain the maximum enjoyment.

I came by late at night when I found them on the way home from work I was taking that day. While they were about to close, they were still super accommodating and the food was fresh and delicious. Already dreaming about my next visit!

Very good food. I've ordered on Uber eats and visited the truck several times. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Best Arepas I've had in Tampa

Came to this food truck that my fiancée has been really excited to try out, we arrived 30 minutes before closing which it was clearly a bad idea. The lady in front did not hesitate to say they were closing in 30 min and that the food available was only tequeños, empana , salchipapa and some more( fried stuff only)! We ordered 5 tequeños and a salchipapa after waiting for 40 minutes the lady said they made the chalchipapas wrong and that they didn't have more salchichas to make a new one, which is 100% understandable but she was indeed lying! The manager offered to make us new ones with the salchichas "they did not have" lol over all the tequeños were okay (:

Increíble experiencia en este food truck venezolano! Pedí dos arepas de queso de mano y estaban deliciosas, con un sabor auténtico que te transporta directamente a Venezuela. Probé la Pelotera (una de las especialidades de la casa) y, sin exagerar, Era gigantesca! Súper bien rellena y sabrosa, la combinación de la arepa con el queso de mano es simplemente perfecta. Ademas, las hamburguesas estaban de otro nivel. Definitivamente un lugar para volver, todo estaba buenísimo!

Don't come here, they don't care about your time. The lady taking my order talked on the phone for about 15 minutes before cooking my empeñadas which only takes around 7 minutes,

Good food! The lady was very helpful and accommodating to my dietary restrictions (as a vegetarian). The juices were also yummy! I will be back :)
