La Pasadita

Food was good. Everything is extra, even salsa which I found odd. Our dinner was all very good. Then got a flan to go. I love flan and always want to try it whenever it's on the menu. Worst flan I have ever had. I think it was either bad or old. It wasn't creamy and tasted sour. It was prepackaged in a tin and had peeled away from the sides of the container. Plus probably the most expensive flan I have ever seen at $9. Really expected more at a premium price.

I have now been here twice... actually, I had eaten at La Pasadita when it was on Belcher and the experience was weird so we decided to try it since they moved and everything looks nice on social media. The last two times I went with friends for my birthday and then after work. Pros:- It's spacious - It's clean - The food was decent and the portions were massive. - There is another room for live music. - They had a mariachi Cons: - it's really hot. The first time they claimed it was because they were pushing the air to the other room they had for live music. The second time, it was just as hot. I'm not down for sweating while I eat. - There is no drink menu so it gets awkward when ordering a mixed drink with the waiter running back to the bar to ask questions.

So the homemade chips and salsa was good. The rest of our dinner was not so good. The Mexican rice had zero flavor and tasted like they mixed old rice with fresh rice ?? The steak burrito I ordered was flavorless and dry with no sauces whatsoever, I ate half of it . Not sure what the protein was , it wasn't steak. My wife enjoyed her Tacos but the Mexican rice was again zero flavor and kinda sour tasting ??? Needless to say we can't go back... Both my wife and myself ended up with stomach aches upon arriving home. Sad...$35.00 down the drain, literally.

Ordered chicken enchiladas on the phone. Specifically said no jalapeño or hot sauce. Got home and opened it up. There's two dried up chicken breast on top of I don't know what. First thing I tasted was jalapeño. Took it back to get a refund and they refused.

the food was wonderful and our server was extremely nice the only complaint is the prices of drinks plus i got to try some new food -Eli :D

Order tacos, very greasy with no taste. $3.00 ea for taco. Ok , but $4.75 for a coke to wash it down. Should have left when they brought the chips and salsa out and the chips looks like somebody's crushed them to small little smithereens.

me and my boyfriend got the pork belly tacos. I thought I was genuinely chewing on rocks. The meat was SO hard and it had 0 flavor to it. We were looking forward to an authentic mexican place but I DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend ever coming here again. Service was okay.. but not as we had hoped it would be.

It seems things are not as 100% as they were a few months ago. Drinks and draft beer are quite pricey, the enchiladas de la casa had skimpy amount of green salsa, and the enchiladas were barely full- too skimpy. The fajitas were good, but I wish the tortillas were not so small. Waitresses were very polite and helpful. Please improve a bit on the food quality. Will try you again in a few months.

My boyfriend and I have been OBSESSED with the al pastor tacos from La Pasadita. The best al pastor we have ever found. It is so flavorful, has a slight crisp, but at the same time is soooo juicy. A must try for sure. The salsa verde is also perfectly balanced with heat and flavor. 10/10
