La Isla Cafe

Stopped here before heading back to Beaufort. Spent a few days at Disney and then in Tampa shortly to visit family when we discovered this little gem! We couldn't find another Cuban restaurant that we have been to before and found this cute little place. Great ambience if you like salsa music which adds to the atmosphere and friendly service. Everything was delicious. We ordered empanadas, a stuffed potatoes, Cuban sandwiches, and a Cuban tamale which was amazing. Everything was priced great! There was enough seating and good parking. Would def come back again

Had a training a few miles from here. A co-worker recommended this place as she and her husband have eaten here several times. Unsuspected location in the Winn Dixie center in Seffner. I had the palomilla steak sammich with plantains, hold the Mayo! I thought I would eat half. I ate it all!! Thinly slice steak with grilled onions, tomato and mustard. I never thought of mustard and steak, but it worked well. The Cuban bread was amazing. Two of my guests who had the Cuban also devoured their lunch. Another had the soup and loved it and one had the beef platter with black beans and rice with plantains. We were all full and satisfied!!Great place. The staff was super friendly and clean. Watching people come and go with take outs, it's clear they have a following. I'll be back!!

They definitely have the best cuban in town. Love their mojo dipping sauce. People are really nice as well.

Wow, five star all the way great prices under 10 bucks with a huge entrée at three sides delicious the yucca, plantains, and the bourbon chicken for awesome and guava pastry and coffee Colucci and greet service. Great help lots of choices, and no waiting.

Pretty darn good Cuban Sandwiches, and super nice people too! There were plenty of leftovers we could not eat, so our Dog ate really good !WE think this is a good place to eat, and so does our Dog!

The service is world class! The food is amazing, I get the cafe con leche anytime of the day,that's how great it is!

This is tucked away in a shopping center. I had the pulled pork, yellow rice, and black beans. The pork was fantastic - no complaints there. Stars taken off for the rudeness of the staff; they will openly mock you between themselves if you pronounce something incorrectly. Also, the prices listed on the various menu boards within the restaurant are inconsistent.

Having never eaten Cuban food before, I was at a loss at the huge array of offerings on the buffet. I asked the young lady serving me to help me decide. She was very gracious and asked questions. I told to pretend I was Cuban and I wanted to eat. She quickly picked dishes that I found delicious. I can't tell you what they were except one was plantain.

Authentic Cuban, cafe con leche is really good. Highly recommend for breakfast and lunch.

The best Cuban food iin Tampa. Their garbanzo bean soup, the black beans and yellow rice, the pulled pork, the yuca, and everything is great.
