La Guantanamera Restaurant

Unassuming restaurant with high-quality sandwiches that come out fast (and get inhaled just as quickly). Came here for lunch on a Saturday with my family, and the restaurant was not busy. My husband wanted to try a Cuban sandwich while he was in town, while I opted for La Guantanamera (comes with a soda) because it shared its name with the restaurant. The bread was nicely toasted and was a good combination of crunchy and chewy. My toddler went for the pancakes, which were delicious and came out hot and fluffy.My rating is only 4 stars because I thought both sandwiches were just good, not great. The pork in the Cuban was very juicy, but it wasn't very flavorful to me. My husband really enjoyed it, however.

The customer service was great. The food was very to the pint but flavorful. It is a good quick breakfast spot.

Not often do I visit Florida, and when I do, I always enjoy good Cuban food. It's just not the taste of Miami but the comfort and memories of what the cuisine does for me. A taste of home if you will. So we were with my mother in law and on our way back to Texas so we decided to eat a Cuban breakfast. As always I had the omelet sandwich Cuban coffee and ham croquettes. Maybe it's been some time since I have had any, but this was delicious and affordable.

The Cuban all the way was great! The plate with ground beef was also delicious. We will definitely be back.

Definitely won't return and don't recommend. I asked for cheese toast with chorizo, and the cashier refused but offered a $7 sandwich instead. So then I asked for a breakfast empanada, chorizo, cheese, and egg - I wish I had taken a photo, there was no chorizo and when I brought it back, the woman in the kitchen tucked a teeny piece of chorizo (the size of a quarter) and tried to insist that 1) it came like that, and 2) that was the amount of meat for the price. Additionally the Cafe con leche was burnt...normally I wouldn't stay at a restaurant that was empty but I did because of the reviews. No way this is the same place. 15/10 do not recommend.

Literally the best Cuban I've ever had at a great price. Fresh bread, super juicy pork, with a delicious sauce. The sandwiches are huge and can definitely be shared (I did not). Their cafeteria style plates with meats, plantains, veggies, beans and rice also look SO good. I will definitely be coming back!!!

WOW! This unassuming place is awesome! We got some of everything on the food bar...roasted pork (you HAVE to get some of the crispy skin) delicious, pork steak with onions and peppers VERY FLAVORFUL-yum, Maduros were delicious, pressed-Cuban sandwiches to-die-for, and huge hand-rolled tamales, this will be my go-to when I am back in Seffner- don't let the strip-mall vibe fool you, this is great Cuban fare, period.

Took business clients to the best Cuban sandwich place in Tampa Bay! I've tried them all, including Ybor City. Very conscientious owner with excellent service.
