Outstanding outstanding outstanding!!!You HAVE to ask for their medium and spicy sauce. Smother it on a taco or burrito and BOOM!! You're south of the border. I highly recommend going here for some authentic cuisine. I haven't tried the variety of things they seem to offer but the Cali burrito and the Tacos are great. Going here tomorrow for sure. Yummy horchata as well. Nice staff. Hole in the wall vibe. Give this place a shot.

We wanted to try this restaurant after noticing it on N Hercules at Allard Dr. It is a little hidden between a gas station and a barber shop. We stopped in for an early lunch on a Saturday to find a modern, clean interior so we grabbed a nice booth. We were greeted promptly with chips and salsas. One was a spicy red and the other was a tomatillo avocado sauce which we quickly devoured. My wife ordered the carnitas dinner. They were slightly spicy and she liked them a lot. I ordered the chicken Milanese torta which was done in the classic Mexican style with breaded chicken cutlets, refried beans, queso fresco, avocado, tomato and jalapeños on a large mexican roll. The sandwich came with perfectly cooked skinny fries. Our server asked me if I wanted the spicy jalapeños when taking our order. The sandwich was huge and delicious. I was intrigued by the restaurant's name so I looked it up online. La China Poblana is a Mexican legend of a 17th century Christian woman named Meera who was abducted from India. After many travels and hardships she became a source of inspiration for Mexican people. Her story is long and inspirational. We will definitely be back. We also want to stop in to try their Mexican breakfasts.

Got the Huevos Rancheros...The whole dish was fine and tasted great...The only problem I had was that the rice and beans were kind of just look warm....The sauce on the eggs was particularly tasty...I also got a side of hot sauce but there was hardly any heat in that at all....They give you complimentary chips with green sauce with avocados in it...That had a nice cilantro taste to it...Overall good home cookin'....The servers were friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Pros: - Chips and salsa... the salsa is what dreams are made of... tomatillo and avocado, it was incredible. - Coffee made cinnamon - The menu is varied - They have a whole section of breakfast food, the Huevos Rancheros were delicious. - the music was good and the restaurant was clean. Cons: Can't think of any

This place is new and decent. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. I had the chili rellanos. The meal was decent however the chilis needed more detail and the viscosity of the sauce needed improvement . The rice and beans were cooked well but could use more flavor. The tortillas went good idk if they make them in house or order them for where the other mediocre restaurants get their tortillas from. You get free chips and salsa but id prefer they didn't serve it all if some of the chips are going to be cold and stale and the free salsa that came with it needs work they need to roast the tomatillos to make it more flavorful and thicker. I would recommend they cut the menu size in half to focus on better quality meals. I would go back only because it's open later than other places in the area and the staff was nice. Hopefully they listen to me on the menu advice otherwise they won't be open for more than a year or 2.

I found this place after unsolicited IG advertising $9 burritos on Wednesdays with a photo of a delicious meat filled burritos. When I inquired about the Wednesday special the only person working there seemed to have no idea the special existed. I ordered the chicken burrito. The chips and 4 types of salsa provided with meal was very good. However the burrito had absolutely no chicken or cheese inside. It was 95% rice and was horrible. What a disappointment! I could have gone to Taco Bell for a better burrito. The person working there was friendly and kind and service was good but they use false advertisement to suck you into their trap! If you can't make a decent quality burrito then you are going to fail as a Mexican restaurant. This place will be OOB in a couple of months I promise you. They also don't advertise their menu prices which are on the high end once you get in there. Will never go back and will tell all my friends and family to not go there.
