We had another large party to celebrate family being in town visiting the 98 year old patriarch. Our server was amazing and had fun with grandpa. She got our large order perfect despite it being ordered partially in Spanish partiality in English, partially in really bad Spanish, and partially being ordered by menu item number. She was great! The food was great as always and it came out at the perfect pace that allowed us to visit and share dishes.

Sinceramente hortible hoy no fue el mejor dia en este lugar , hay que destacar que los precios son altos comparados con otros lugares latinos similares , una simple yuca con mojo 8.99 , en otros no oasa de 6 dolares .. el servicio no es bueno realmente muy muy lento solo 2 meseras y el lugar lleno , los drink demoraron , los aperitivos casi no llegan , los platos principales los trajeron mal en 2 ocasiones, el pargo frito demoro mas de 1 hora , por encima pusieron la propina en el recibo como garantia ee servicio excelente , creo que el dueño del restaurant deberia tener en cuenta que el buen servicio hace que uno regrese ,, necesita trabajadores .. con mi familia no regreso nunca .. revisar sus precios .. y su servicio .. en fin no nos gusto

We have been frequenting this establishment for over 10 years without a complaint until today. I ordered Carnitas of pork with a salad, a child's shrimp dinner and another order of Carnitas with mofongo for my husband. The restaurant was busy but they had plenty of waitresses to cover the floor. We placed our order with an Asian lady that not only did not have command of the English language, she also couldn't speak Spanish which 99% of the customers who frequent there speak. We waited over 45 minutes for our food with no explanation why the wait. My pork was so overcooked that the meat was a dark burnt brown and it was dry like cardboard. When we told the waitress she looked at the plate and said "you ate half we will charge you half or we can make you some to replace". Honestly I consumed 2 pieces hoping for it to get better and it didn't. I have never heard of such a response in my life and if I didn't have my 93 year old mother with me I would have made an epic scene, Mother's Day saved this lady! By the way when the bill arrived for $82 for food that was not consumed, and no deductions, we were so annoyed, that we paid and didn't leave a gratuity; something I have never done in my whole life! It was a miserable experience.

Good place for lunch or dinner, no recommendations needed. Small cozy place along with a nice atmosphere, just casual wear. Variety of food choices to choose from but our favorite is the Mofongo with seafood so delicious and tasty. Filling just for one or share for two if you order an appetizer as well. Try the empanadas crabmeat too.

Stopped into this restaurant in Tampa and the smell outside just brought be back home. Authentic Puertorriquena food. Nothing beats homemade red beans like momma used to make. Had the pork chops with white rice. Also had the stuffed shrimp tostones. Everything was delicious and service was excellent. Will stop by again if ever in the Tampa are.

Nope that was the most disappointing of allAnd they gave me the full bill 88,20See receipt below For proof Anyways my uncle is from the island and well let's just say we have been hitting all Puerto Rican places around but this one sadly will Not have my business again Again the service and ambience is nice and maybe it's just the meats they have a tough time With Good luck

El mejor restaurante boricua en el area de Tampa. La comida nos la trajeron recién echa y caliente. El sabor demasiado de delicioso, me hizo recordar a mi hogar. El servicio fue de excelencia. Volvería cada vez que este en la Florida

Could be better, overpriced bad customer service. Order pork chunks online that comes with two sides, selected beans and an upgrade to Tostons paid $23.00 arrived for my food and was told that the beans that i selected are not included. the menu states it beings two sides for $17.00 manager would not speak to me. it's not about the $ as i paid $8.00 for an overpriced dessert it's about the principle.
