I was so hungry I forgot to take photos. I was looking for a quick and not super expensive place for breakfast on the go. So glad that this lil place was on the way. It's in a fairly old plaza so don't just it by it's cover. Inside was quaint and their baked goods are sooo good and so fresh, not to mention pretty cheap considering inflation and all. You won't regret going to this place. Everything I got was super tasty and the lady up front was so sweet. Come by and grab some fresh pan de yucca!

I love the bread here! I used to live right across the street... and came here often. Now whenever I drive by, I usually forget to get in the right lane so I can stop... but today, I remembered! The owner (Teresa) remembered me from past visits and was her usual sweet and helpful self. They did not have any of my favorite Pan de Coco... but I did get a full loaf of Pan de Queso, and will probably use it to make some yummy dinner tonight. If you have not tried Pan de Queso, you need to! No matter how you fix it, it is so good!

This small bakery owned and operated by a husband and wife duo, specializes in making delicious breads mainly with yuca (cassava). They have different versions of the yuca bread that mostly include cheese which allows for that gooey, chewy, soft texture to the inside of their breads. The pan de bono and almojabana are my two favorite. They also make corn and cheese arepas and pan de queso daily, as well as sweet coconut bread which needs to be preordered a day in advance.

This is a small shop, but there's more than what meets the eye. I was warmly welcomed by a sweet woman. The almojabana is so good! I don't live around here so I will "attempt" to try this at home bc I love the perfect crust outside and chewy airy inside. The buttery scent is so delightful. Whenever I am in the area I am definitely going to stop by to get my yuca fix I wish the pictures captured how delicious this is, it may look simple but it's so satisfying. Must try!!!

I can't say enough good things about this bakery. This is my fourth time visiting this location since discovering it 2 1/2 weeks ago. I stopped by the first time after 5 pm on a Tuesday. I had gone to the alterations shop next door and saw their sign. I love carbs so I wanted to check it out. They were closed but the lovely owner let me in and she was so warm and hospitable. I had never been to a Colombian bakery so I didn't know what any of the pastries were or how they would taste. I bought an assortment and the moment I took my first bite I was hooked. All of the bread is so light and delicious. I end up craving it. The last time I was here I bought everything in the case for my family to try. Patrons came in and there was nothing left. So this time I called my order ahead. The order was ready in about 20 minutes.I got 6 Almojabana, 6 Pan de Bono, 6 Pan de Yuca and an Arepa de Choclo for $25. Teresa and her husband are the owners and they are such beautiful, kind, salt of the earth people. They said that the bread would be good for about a week if you keep it in the refrigerator. However, you WILL want to toast the bread in a toaster oven because the texture changes when it's not fresh.Speaking of texture, the Almojabana is so chewy and yummy. It's like Brazilian pão de queijo. The texture of this is just a tad bit thicker. My son and I can eat it plain out of the bag. There's just a hint of sweetness. The Pan de Bono tastes a little bit like the Almojabana but it's more dense and this is good for making sandwiches. It looks like a bagel. If it's older than a day you would think it's too stale. But once you put it in the toaster oven the crispness is back. I eat this with turkey, cheese, & avocado. The Pan de Yuca is crisp on the outside but chewy and buttery tasting on the inside. The Arepa de Choclo tastes a little like sweet corn. My son is picky and will always say no if you ask him to try something new. I asked him to just try a bite and he barely left any for me! The buñuelo is also dense. It's a fried dough ball. It's just a little plain for me. You could always dip it in your favorite toppings at home if you choose. The croissants are also very dense and not light and flaky like the commercial croissants we're used to.There is a small parking lot in front. The inside is cozy and you can purchase refreshments if you want to eat there. Google says they close at 3:30 pm but the owner told me it's wrong and they close at 5 pm. I would call if you want to make sure before driving over. I love this bakery. I'll be here at least once a month.

We went to this bakery looking for especifically pan de yuca due to dietary restrictions and also driven by Yelp.We found a little bakery that had a lot of delicious options and delicious coffee! It was conveniently located to our AirBnB and to a lot of other interesting places we wanted to visit in Tampa.I .definitely recommend the Almojabanas which is something else we tried. They also had delicious bunuelos. This is definitely a bakery that has a lot of breads that you would not find somewhere else. Go with an open mind and the will to try things that you never had. That is how you are truly surprised by new cuisine!

This little bakery is a true gem! The lovely woman who owns the bakery is always so welcoming and sweet and makes the best cheese roll and pan de yuca I've ever had! Everything is always fresh and so so delicious I just can't get enough! I always buy way more than I should, which is dangerous for my waist but I can't help it.Prices are very reasonable so If your ever if the area, you MUST give this place a visit, you won't regret it! Love this place!
