La Bella Napoli - A Hidden Gem!Tonight, we had the pleasure of checking out La Bella Napoli, a long-time local spot that was new to us, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm, kind host, and the decor immediately gave off an old-school Italian vibe that felt like dining at grandma's house--cozy and inviting.Our server was genuinely enthusiastic and made some excellent recommendations. I started with their white sangria (not pictured), which was perfectly balanced--not too sweet, just right, and a fantastic way to kick off the meal.For an appetizer, we tried their unique take on bruschetta, which was served warm with melted cheese. It was a bit different from the usual but a delightful twist that added a nice richness to the dish.For our mains, we went with the Gnocchi with meat sauce and the Veal Toscany, and both were absolutely incredible. You could tell the dishes were made with care and were authentically homemade, offering that true Italian comfort food experience.We also tried the Caesar salad, which had the option of extra anchovies (they make the dressing in-house), and it was definitely worth it for that extra burst of flavor.To finish, we had the homemade tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. So perfect in fact that we inhaled it and it was also not pictured. We were extremely happy with everything, and we'll definitely be returning!If you haven't tried La Bella Napoli yet, do yourself a favor and give it a visit. You'll be supporting a local family business and enjoying some seriously delicious food!

Found this small place and decided to give it a shot! Walking in, the atmosphere was extremely welcoming and had a home type feel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The bread was a bit bland. I the decided on pasta fagoli for my appetizer. It was more of a broth with noodles and not much else. There was much left desired on that choice. At that point I was a little worried about dinner but let me tell you it was AMAZING!! I had sausage and peppers with penne that was to die for! The sausage was delicious and peppers were cooked just right! The combo plate was just as good! Being a big fan of spamoni we got the desert as well. Wow! Just wow! The flavors were just right. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

The staff and food were amazing.Wife said, Chicken Piccata was amazing, I had the Taste of Italy It was great too!Accidently broke a glass of vino, the staff was more concerned for our safety than the spill.Of course the bartender sent over a fresh glass on the house. We had the best waitress in world.We will be back

Although we have been going for quite some time and always very good food.On this Valentine's Day we had a reservation for 4:30 and as usual we checked in and were told to wait outside until a table was available.At 5:00 I asked again and again I was told to wait outside until a table was ready.We were called in at 5:40, not one word to say sorry for the wait!!!The waitress was overworked and had little to time to do any small talk!!Food was great, the service was soso!

We have been going to La Bella Napoli since they first opened on Shoal Line Blvd. (13 years). The service is excellent. The food is exceptional, always consistent and delicious..

We walked in on a Thursday night and the place was full and we were sat right away in one of the last tables. Our server was excellent as my wife has Celiac and needs to eat gluten free. They were able to accommodate most dishes for her which came out great. I would compare my seafood pasta to any 5 star restaurants from any major city. So glad we stopped after going to Weeki Wachee, will definitely go back next time we are in the area!

No idea what happened to this place, but it is awful now. Last two times - four months apart - that we went the food was bland, unappetizing, and just plain disgusting.They now heap everything on a mountain of overcooked pasta to make it look like more instead of serving pasta separately. We hit on early bird special in April, put the bland, small portion of flounder down to bargain, but went Sept. 7 and ordered from regular menu and it was just as bad.The little rolls have no taste, the chicken soup tasted like water, all the grated cheese in the world could not improve it. Partner had eggplant parmigiana - was a little thin eggplant heaped on pasta. Pretty tasteless too.I had chicken francese, sauce was bland, gooey, white on top of overcooked penne heap - awful. Took home leftovers of both dishes and threw them out.Whatever is going on, whether it is bad cook, poor ingredients, etc. they need to fix it and fast. Not going back, was actually embarrassed that I took guest there.By the way, had made reservations, they were not very busy with lots of waitresses, yet made us wait in bar area with staff pushing past us for a good 20 minutes - and pretty much pushed us to order drinks. No excuse for this.
