Kyoto Ramen- Dale Mabry

Loved our dinner at Kyoto Ramen. First impression was a fun little Japanese Ramen shop with eye catching decor.We loved our server Yada. She was so enthusiastic and friendly. She gave great recommendations and I followed her red of Kare Kaisen Ramen - seafood curry ramen - so much flavor and definitely not one I can find just anywhere. The only thing about it I didn't like was the tofu which I love tofu but that one was a bit spongy. My husband had the kaarage shio tonkotsu which came with lots of chicken on the side. He definitely was happy with his. Without a doubt a great ramen dinner spot as the weather is finally starting to cool off. This will definitely be our Carrollwood Go To Spot for ramen.

A recent opening in the Carraba's Plaza on N. Dale Mabry, Kyoto Ramen is a bright colorful place where you can try the usual list of treats found in these noodle shops.The service, product presentation and ambiance are easily 5 stars for Kyoto, but the food ranges from 3 to 4 stars. Overall I gave it 4 stars and I will share the breakdown.4 stars or higher. The flavor of the broth, the egg, the noodle texture, presentation, bamboo sprouts, bean sprouts and miso.3 stars to 3.5. The mushrooms, overabundance of cliantro, diced overpowering jalapeño, tiny paper-thin portion of pork belly and japanese beef. There was also VERY LITTLE broth in the bowl...is there some kinda broth shortage in their kitchen. Least amount of broth I have ever seen in a ramen dish. Very little need for such a large bowl if your going to be stingy with your broth and protein.On the bright side, one of the best versions of Shrimp Tempura I have ever had. Crispy and crunchy, succulent and juicy and a great shrimp to breading ratio. Loved it.There are other treats to order, a nice variety of sakes, eye pleasing ambiance but if it's ramen you want, head further south on Dale Mabry to a place on the right just before Lambright. But I will come back for a double dose of Shrimp Tempura.

‼ RAMEN SPOT in Tampa ‼京都 ラーメン This fun ramen restaurant in Tampa Bay is such a vibe and I fell in love with the decor and atmosphere. Anime on the TV and Japanese Ghibli themed art abound. 1 Takoyaki - Loaded with toppings2 Karaage - The sauciest fried chicken cutlet. Smothered in okonomiyaki sauce and spicy mayo.3 Panko Sweet Potato - Sooo crunchy and covered in furikake seasoning. These hand cut fries are super addictive. 4 Curry Seafood Tonkotsu Ramen - Loaded with seafood and a ruch curry broth. Noodles galore.5 Unagi Don - A massive donburi, loaded with delicious toppings. You know those viral sushi bakes? This is that vibe.6 Gyoza - Crispy and great dipped in the ramen.7 Homemade Drink - Yuzu tea served with loads of popping boba. 8 Ramune Sodas - My favorite is always the melon. 9 Japanese sodas - so many to choose from.Seriously want to try all their appetizers.Service is always great.

The ramen broth was very rich, which was really delicious, but I needed a minute to digest because of flavor fatigue after eating half the bowl. The marinated boiled eggs were so yummy oh my gawd, and the noodles were a perfect texture. My gf said her karaage was tasty, nice and crispy. She also said her coke was really good, lots of syrup from the fountain. The service was very nice and polite. There was koi fish inside, I really liked the fish, I thought the fat one was really cute lol. They were also playing One Piece on the TV, which was funny to me because it was the episode with the Baratie Restaurant which felt fitting.

When we came in we were seated at a booth. Our server, Yada was really nice and tentative, she introduced herself and asked us what we would like to drink, my daughter had lemonade, my brother and I had water with lemons. The food was great and did not disappoint. Good ramen is hard to find here in FL, my brother and I were very happy with Kyoto Ramen. We're big foodiesI ordered Shio Tonkotsu, which is fried chicken ramen, but I didn't want the pork broth as my base so I asked for vegetarian broth instead.My daughter had the EBI tempura 3 pieces, my brother had the specialty ramen, Kara miso tonkotsu and ordered it spicy again. To top off our wonderful meal, my brother and I had kikusui nigori mango sake, it was so airy and sweet, definitely a recommended drink.The ambiance is upbeat and anime themed,we were fascinated as soon as we walked in, we saw the umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, it was so cool.

Looking for somewhere to eat something different we found this ramen place and it was a good discovery. For an appetizer we chose the gyozas that were freshly made and for ramen we chose the shio Tonkotsu, crispy chicken with mushrooms and we added extra pork belly, the flavor was incredible and the portion was large enough. Brianna took excellent care of us and was attentive to everything we asked for.

Excellent food! this was our 1st time here and it was sooooooo good! I had a ramen bowl with radishes, tofu, stewed spam and veggies. It was spicy and delicious! Hubby had a beef version. Mine came with chicken broth and his with beef broth. The services was great and the very attentive. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. It was great!

Absolutely delicious ramen. The decor transports you to Tokyo. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff were kind and attentive, noting when our drinks were getting empty. We had the Ika Agi, Shio Karaage and Nibuta Tonkostu. The ramen was flavorful and the pork belly melted in your mouth. The calimari was fresh and soft with the perfect crunch. The fried chicken was interesting but probably our least favorite. It had a sauce that tasted like it might be a mix of honey mustard and Japanese bbq sauce. Tasted great but couldn't come close to the others.Highly recommended for date night

I came here for my birthday. As someone who is particular about what goes in their ramen i absolutely loved their make your own bowl. My friends all picked different types and we were just quiet as we ate because we got lost in the sauce. Our server was very sweet and made the experience all the better. The location is central to dale Mabry and inside is a beautifully decorated small place. Will def come back.

Soo good. Service was good, staff was punctual, and the ramen is yummy :) I will be back
