Kreyol spice cuisine

I came on a Saturday afternoon. 90% of the items on the menu were unavailable. I chose the snapper and my only side options were white rice, black beans, and fried plantains. The red snapper took about 20 minutes to prepare which was no issue for me. They were very nice and told me from the beginning it would take some time to prepare. The snapper was seasoned really well and tasted good. The other things were good too however it's nothing I would drive from Riverview to go have again. If I'm in the area I may try some other things. They offer Konpa classes on Wednesdays which I may try some day.

A great spot for Haitian food. Sometimes they don't follow the hours posted online so I'd make sure to call first. The food is VERY flavorful and delicious. The meat and pikliz is always top tier. When they have Haitian macaroni, make sure to get it - amazing! However, their rice is not as solid for my tastes (it's too "pat" for me). Great spot overall!

Service is a little slow but the food was worth it. Very friendly cook.... Reminds me of my family

I stopped by this new place and was instantly greeted with a smile. The service was top notch and the food was exceptional. Coming from a Caribbean household it's very hard to find good Caribbean cuisine but this place does hit the mark. Everything was well plated and the flavors came through nicely. I will definitely be back to try their weekend brunch. This is a hidden gem. Not your typical Tampa Island spot the decor is well thought out and everything is brand new.

Omg I tried this place recently and it is better then Kreyol delight I am so happy I decided to give it a try. The food is authentic and seasoned well. I had oxtails with rice and peas (she gave a large portion) with Mac and cheese fresh onions and peppers to top it off and fried plantain. I enjoyed the food and was able to eat it throughout the entire day that's how much was given.

Place was empty, didn't smell like any food was cooking. They had limited grocery items for sale behind a counter. It was Just man & lady sitting talking. Asked if they were serving food today lady went in the back and a young girl came out & gave me a menu. Stood there for 15 mins, nobody came back over to take my order so I left.

Leaving Busch Gardens, all I wanted was to eat something that felt good and revived me. I feel so lucky I found Kreyol Spice. Everywhere you look, you see thoughtful touches from the owner. I had chicken and it was delicious. It's definitely a place I'll return to anytime I'm in Tampa. Also, I grabbed some goat soup for later because I want to try everything she cooks!

i Ordered the goat late on a Saturday evening. When I got there I was greeted by the owner and I handed her my card to pay, and waited a little while for the food to come. I never asked How much she was ringing he food up for because she referred me to the menu and the menu said the curry goat was 23.99. It wasn't until after I got home I realized that I was charged 42 bucks for curry goat. When I called back for this bc obviously this was a mistake, the owner brought up rising cost of grub hub and them taking 30 percent which had absolutely nothing to do with me because I picked up my own order. She never explained any increase when I placed the order on the phone, when I paid, or when the food finally came out. She lost a repeat customer for an extra 20 bucks because I looked like I can afford it. And then a few days later she tries to send me a weird message by commenting on my Yelp review instead of trying to address the issue like an adult. Why would I allow you to charge my card if you did indeed tell me the price before hand and then cause all of this commotion on the backend? You never disclosed any price change; market price information until after I called back and complained. you did all this for an extra 20 bucks when you could have been decent and had a repeat custy. Smart.

10/10 OMG! I was looking for a Caribbean food place & happen to find this hidden gem . Got a sample upon walking in . Service was great , the ambiance was good . Would rate this place 6 stars if I could . Highly recommend!
