This place was amazing! A friend suggested we go here and check it out and it was an absolute yes. Parking is limited so be mindful about this. Seats inside were a variety of tables, chairs, and benches. I started off with a steamed bun. It was delicious. Pork belly with a variety of pickled vegetables. Loved it!I ordered the Rock n roll (left) and kiwa roll (right). The rock n roll is tempura shrimp, cream cheese, and asparagus. It is topped with torched scallops, truffle aioli, eel sauce, scallions, and tabiko.The kiwa roll is krab salad and tempura shrimp. It is topped with salmon, avocado, spicy mayo, eel sauce, scallions, and fried masago. Both rolls were absolutely fantastic! Very fresh. Held together perfectly! Will definitely come back and recommend!

This review is for delivery. I ordered via DoorDash, and my order arrived within the predicted window, well-wrapped, and very delicious.I miss Matoi. I like sushi, but my husband does not. He will, however, eat Korean food.while I miss The Asian Kitchen, I am happy with Kiwa replacing it. Sushi and Korean food. My family can still agree to eat together.For my first "visit," I tried to get a smattering of things to sample. I ordered: the Korean dumplings, a bao bun, a California roll, edamame, and tempura shrimp. Overall, everything was tasty. I thought the bao bun was soggy. It probably should only be ordered for consumption in the restaurant, not delivery. The dumplings were not piping hot, and so weren't as good as they should be. Again, not the fault of the restaurant. The tempura shrimp wasn't hot, but it was still crispy and very well seasoned, so I was happy with that. The California roll was good, and I appreciated that it wasn't just a solid stick of Krab. I'll happily order from them again or even - gasp - visit in-person.

NEW HOT SPOT ALERT! Right on Bayshore near the back gate - Kiwa took over where Asian Kitchen once was. Started with 3 for $15 buns and they were soft and delicious with not too much sauce. Next up was the bulgogi with rice for DH and the special pork belly Ramen for me - I cannot pass up a good ramen and it did not disappoint! They have plenty of parking, a good selection of rolls, bento options and alcohol.

The food was delicious, def recommend this location! The service was wonderful and great volcano roll! I also tried the dirty taro and it was so good! I can't wait to come back to this hidden gem by Bayshore. The ambiance was clean and excellent service!

Korean/Japanese fusion. Which is pretty cool to have south of Gandy. Not a huge selection of traditional Korean dishes, even so you will fond the typical bulgogi and galbi. This place was so good.

Kiwa was really great! The food was incredible, and the service was fast and efficient. We didn't make a reservation on a Friday night, but we still were seated very quickly. I didn't get a chance to try the boba this time, but I will the next. I'll definitely be back!

Been here twice now and love the concept/location however there's a few things they need to work on.The sushi rice is slightly undercooked. Both times the sushi rice was almost crunchy and dry. Their fish quality is great so it's a shame the rice takes away from the sushi.The boba I had was undercooked and had pieces of chalk/hard boba (uncooked) in my milk tea drink. Rolls are very small for the price. I understand it's Bayshore but $17-19 rolls, you would expect larger pieces.Must get items : takoyaki, fresh rolls and yellowtail carpaccio

What a pleasant surprise! Came here on a whim without expecting much, but I think I found us a new spot. The place was small but seemed to have a well oiled team. All of the food was very fresh and flavorful. My least favorite dish was the spicy baby squid app. The sauce was delish, but it was too chewy for my liking. The galbi dish was my absolute favorite of the night. Truly a 5 star plate. Super tender short ribs that were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The sushi was also very good, fish was fresh and good portions. Good ratio of filling to rice. I highly recommend this place for a low key dinner we will be back very soon

It's a cozy spot in a strip mall with a friendly staff. I had a sushi roll, crab rangoons and sake which were all outstanding! Can't wait to go back and try more rolls

When we first walked in, we were unsure because there weren't many people here. The lights were turned down low, which we love. We recommended this place from a friend. Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing and so fresh. This is definitely a gem. We loved our server. She was very helpful. The longer we stayed the more busy the place got. We will be back!
